Tsukasa wakes up in The World with no memory and meets Mimiru. After fleeing
from confrontations with her and the Crimson Knights, who are looking for
information about a cat player, Tsukasa finds himself unable to log out and
starts running from his problems in The World as a matter of principle. He
tells Mimiru about his problem, but realises that he is in quite a unique
situation. The Crimson Knights continue their investigation and the leader,
Ginkan, confronts Tsukasa in a dungeon shortly after Tsukasa learns that
someone will be his guardian and will protect him wherever he goes. The
"guardian" defeats Ginkan which actually causes the person playing the game
to fall into a coma.
