Junichiro Tokuoka
Junichiro is former employee of the CC Corporation. Along with a few friends, he has set out on a mission to find the truth about why players of "The World" are going into comas.




Mai Minase
Mai Minanse is the main character in the first OVA of Liminality. She was invited to the game club by her boyfriend Tomonari Kasumi to play in "The World." Both of them fall unconscious, and when Mia recovers, she learns that her boyfriend is still in a coma. She too is looking for answers.



Yuki Aihara
Yuki is the main character in the second Liminality OVA. While viewing a movie, all communication devices malfunction inside the building which causes mass panic. A mysterious lady leads Yuki away from the crowd of people, and help her escape.




Kyoko Tohno
Kyoko is a good friend of Tokouka's. The two end up meeting a mysterious character named "Kuro no Bito", who sends them on a wild chase across Japan in order to figure out the meaning of the Epitaph of Twilight.



Ichiro Tsatou- "Kuro no Bito"
He is helba's right-hand-man. Ichiro has one goal on his mind... to take down CC Corporation.
