FFX wasn't that great to me compared to FFVII and I don't know if anyone else feels this way, but I think they focused more on the fact that they had voice acting compared to the story. (just an observation, but I haven't played X in a long time >.>)
FFVII also had better characters in my opinion who were both comical and interesting. I've also heard they will release a remake for the ps3, but after they have everything else done and have free time tot do it.

FFVII looks better and it feels funner that FFX. The story line also seems to be better.

Agreed, I liked the materia system, although it did take a while to master certain materia ^^;

FFVII is much better in my opinion. Why?

Materia > Sphere Grid Thing

"Let's Mosey" > "HA. HA. HA."

Sephiroth > Seymourrrrrr

Dare I ask what is bitter?, I'm sorry to say I think Final Fantasy 7 is much bitter the story Line and the Music is what got me. yes I did Play Final Fantasy 10 and agin sorry to say I didn't like it that much it just kind of remind me of FF7 a little I know it might sound a bit odd but that what I think...

I'm gonna have to say FFX for the sole reason that i can watch aeris get a sword stuck through her body and not even feel remorse. I mean come on, I think we all get the point that it was a great and reveloutionary game for the genra, but it dumbed it all down just for the masses and threw too much melodrama into it. That's why I prefer Dragon Quest 8 and the .dot hack games over FF. Too much focus on the mushy stuff. Also, I just liked the idea that you could get all skills in the game with the sphere grid :P

Seven for the more unique ideal storyline. However, X had a good storyline as well. I guess Seven just came with it first, lol.

FFVII had the ebtter story and was funner. More invloved. Whn they remake it it will probably not even be a question of which is better, but like any series they bleed it dry (FFVII: CC, BC, DC, AC, and original... getting redictulous lol).

True.
Actually, I heard that Mr. Nomura is going to make FFVII for the ps3 after he has completed his other projects, like FFVII:DoC and has free time.
I've also heard that he is still thinking of how to finish the compilation project.
