VII, tidus was a bit annoying to me, and then they came out with x-2...

FFX wasn't that great to me compared to FFVII and I don't know if anyone else feels this way, but I think they focused more on the fact that they had voice acting compared to the story. (just an observation, but I haven't played X in a long time >.>)
FFVII also had better characters in my opinion who were both comical and interesting. I've also heard they will release a remake for the ps3, but after they have everything else done and have free time tot do it.

Dare I ask what is bitter?, I'm sorry to say I think Final Fantasy 7 is much bitter the story Line and the Music is what got me. yes I did Play Final Fantasy 10 and agin sorry to say I didn't like it that much it just kind of remind me of FF7 a little I know it might sound a bit odd but that what I think...

I'm gonna have to say FFX for the sole reason that i can watch aeris get a sword stuck through her body and not even feel remorse. I mean come on, I think we all get the point that it was a great and reveloutionary game for the genra, but it dumbed it all down just for the masses and threw too much melodrama into it. That's why I prefer Dragon Quest 8 and the .dot hack games over FF. Too much focus on the mushy stuff. Also, I just liked the idea that you could get all skills in the game with the sphere grid
