Our Richter scale list the earthquake as 8.9 while JMA list it as 7.9 or 8.4? Alright Google confirms it's 8.9.

There also has been a Tsuami Warning issued for Japan, Hawaii, Philippines, Indonesia, Papua, New Guinea and the entire west coast of the US. There are evacuations issued for the coast of Hawaii. The Tsunami waves are expected to hit Hawaii. 11,000 people are also being evacuated from the Russia coastland. It'll reach the US west coast around 7-8 am pst.
Telephones, power lines are down in Japan and supplies are being bought out in the convenience stores.
There were several aftershocks after the earthquake. Literally so much information is pouring out right now. They say its the largest Earthquake JMA has recorded. 20+ aftershocks after the initial earthquake with a 5.0 or greater.
The tip of Tokyo Tower has been bent from the severity of the Earthquakes.

All flights at Tokyo Narita airport (arrivals, departures) set from canceled/delayed to "indefinite".
People are stranded since the trains are down.
I got this from NeoGaf and thought I post it here. I hope the people there are okay.

So you noticed too...
The worst thing, the tsunami can achieve some countries at South America: Peru, Chile, Equador and at Noth America all the islands near shore with USA.

hehe It seems even those science fiction movies that we watch on cinema.
I feel sorry for japan =/

Just because there's been an earthquake in Japan doesn't mean it's an excuse to use bad SPAG.

Also, did anyone know that-apparently-Ken Suigimori is one of the many people though to be on the list of deaths caused by these disasters?
