You mean a Medium Sword? Yes, there is...and i won't be the one to spoil it, but just finish the Assassin Recruit challenges and achieve Rank 1, and then go to the hideout and look for it. You won't miss it.

Nah, not at all. If you go to the Art shops, you can buy maps for the locations of ALL treasures, flags and feathers, making the search MUCH MORE EASIER than it has ever been in the Assassin's Creed saga. You won't be able to buy maps for the location of the Secret Flags though (flags inside the Romulus Lair thingies...yes there are 3 on each one and yes they count for 100%)...but well, you'll only have to look for 18 flags on your own, not 108, and about half of them are on clear view and easy to reach anyways.
The only "pain" in this game is to achieve 100% Synchronization in all the missions...the rest is easier than it's ever been.

AC always has a really interesting story, but just so little of it in each volume. I feel like it will take another 10 games just to finish a story that could be told in one game. Well, I mean the story inside the Animus is a decent length, but I want to see more of them in real life. I was hoping we would get to see that thanks to the bleeding effect, and we did, but still not as much as I wanted to. But I guess the amount of progress leading that way is really promising. Crossing my fingers for that in AC3. I like being an Assassin, I like going to the past, I like climbing castles, and I like fooling around in cities and messing with guards. But at this point I want to know more about the present than the past. I was expecting to meet up with more Assassin's at the end, or another confrontation with Templars. Not just 2 minutes of more cryptic words followed by an hour and a half of credits. "I'd like to thank the neighbor boy who brought me coffee that one day and the mailman and.."
Agreed for the most part. I also REALLY wanted to see more action happening in 2012, more things being revealed about the "modern" events, see more interaction with Desmond and the rest of the surviving Assassins, and overall a more expanded gameplay and story regarding the present than just able to see gossiping mails, or a Free-Running moment with a "WHAT!?" scene at the end. Sure, there were alot of things revealed, and a few e-mails were definetly far more important than a missing Yogurt...but, not enough to satisfy me >3> I really enjoy the Animus, of course, exploring the past and learning so many things about it, the gameplay is sure as heck sweet and enjoyable too, with SO MANY things to do to not complain about boredom...but, i just think it would be great to see more about the present and take on a bigger part on it, rather than just be the guy who will save the world by staying plugged to a machine and "playing the past".
That's somewhat of a reason why i'm so obsessed with the glyphs/Subject 16 puzzles, because they reveal a HECKLOAD of information, and HEAVILY RELEVANT to both the origin of the events, and to the modern events, what really happened to them and why the 2012 is the way it is right now, what the Assassins and Templars have done after Italy, what they have in mind right now...all of it (and yes, you get to learn ALL of that through those little silly and uber-complicated puzzles). The story in Brotherhood was sure amazing....but i don't think i'll be exaggerating if i say that the story revealed through Subject 16 is much more important, relevant and shocking than the whole deal with the Borgia.
I hope to see more of 2012 in Assassin's Creed 3 too, maybe not to the point where it's a full-armed battle against the Templars (the Assassins would die =3=), but more exploration, perhaps having to locate certain items or certain locations, more enemy action as well even if it's still against the silly guards with the electric rods, and more character development as well...something we could kinda see in Brotherhood but it wasn't that much explored and i felt they could've given a bit more importance to it (it was all optional after all...kinda like if Rebecca and Shaun and everyone else "didn't really matter" :/). Due to many clues given so far though (especially in Project Legacy and The Fall...they almost YELL it to your face), i have a great guess of what's going to happen in Assassin's Creed 3...and no, it won't be full-2012 action, it's still going to involve the Animus, but it's going to be much more advanced in time, and guns are going to be a bit much more important than swords and knives. But don't worry, we'll still have our favorite building-climbing, sneaking through people in front of guards, and leaping off a tower to then land into something soft through an impossible manouver with no absolute damage whatsoever :P lol
