Do you know what I'm reeeeeally sick of?(New DmC topic)

Don't particularly care for the design but I'm waiting to see actual gameplay first. That said I'm unsure why a series that's roughly 9 years old needs a reboot. They can still insert crap between 4 and 2, they can still make stuff that happens after two, there's enough open space and stuff for them to expand on. But this is typical that there are so many open ends in a CAPCOM game that are never resolved. I'm still waiting for Mega Man Legends 3 after all.

Mostly apathetic about this and find the decisions made to be odd, but I'm not exactly sympathetic toward fans crying for a sequel taking place in the original series for now they will have to suffer the same blue balls every fan of the Mega Man series that wasn't EXE and Zero have suffered. I'll care more when I'm playing the last classic Mega Man, Mega Man X9, and Mega Man Legends 3.

Twilight Dante is for sure as old if not older then DMC 3 Dante.

I'm not sure exactly where you're getting the information you've been using here Erranty. (source?) But, one thing has been confirmed (in that article i posted earlier iirc) this IS an origin story. But not for our good ol' Dante because...

To be honest, Dante's age is never given in ANY information in, or about the games. I was making an accurate assessment based on his level of maturity. Also that he had a glass of whiskey if I remember correct and they aren't allowed to have underage drinking in games.

Yes, but he doesn't mention the extent of the powers he had as a child, or if as his older self, he considered his teenage self a child.
