Do you know what I'm reeeeeally sick of?(New DmC topic)

Alot of fans are seriously hating on the new younger dante with black hair and the white patch in the back.
I'm quite sick of this, so what if this dante has emo-ish hair! He lost his whole family to a bunch of demons and was left alone. All the fans are complaining about how they're gonna change the gameplay somewhat for western players to enjoy. That means it is meant for the fans in the west, they're trying to make it appealing to you! The storyline is based before the 18 year old dante in DMC3, they probably wanted to change it up a bit from the old red coat, white mop hair, don't get me wrong Dante is my favorite character out of all games. But I've been reading some stuff the fans are saying and I'm pissed! They are literally, please pardon my language, acting like little **** that didn't get exactly what they want. And now they're complaining about the publishers too, the guys who made ninja gaiden, I personally loved ninja gaiden. And its so funny that they're complaining about a game that doesn't have that much gameplay trailers out or at all. I will always be faithful to DMC in all shapes or forms. It's just madness how the fans are criticizing dante just how he looks, did anyone think the white patch in his hair could indicate his demonic power growing? Like during the game his hair gets whiter each time he gets demonic powers? I wonder if any of the fans actually thought about it before trolling it the second they watched the first trailer....
I'm sorry if I'm acting like that fat ginger-kid (yeah the one south park made fun of lol) I just really needed to vent how I felt about the general fan reaction to this game that obviously looks sick as hell!. I'm probably acting like a rant-osaurus right now
I do apologize for my abrupt behavior in this topic. Like i said before I just needed to get this off my chest at the moment and you seem like you all can understand my current position on this topic lol

Srsly now...well, i'm too tired and sleepy to make a ramble like i usually do, and at the same time i don't want to leave this to reply tomorrow, so i'll be brief.

Although i am overall "unhappy" with the fact that "DmC" went through such a drastic change, when what i want is a game to continue with the series and clear details and stuff questioned in DMC4, i won't be all whiny about it because it's supposed to be a REBOOT of the series. It's not supposed to continue from the last games, or even BE RELATED to them at all...it's like making a whole new different game, that simply happens to be called "Devil may Cry", the main character happens to be called "Dante", and many other coincidences...and that's it. So, i'll treat this game as a new different game, and won't see it as the Devil May Cry and judge it upon that...at least, not THE Devil May Cry with the white-haired awesome Dante and a setting that had nothing to do with an urbanized city and being interrogated in some room.

Now i don't know why this is happening to Devil May Cry, and i really hope it doesn't mean the end of the original series (DMC4 WAS SO AWESOME AND THEY HAD MANY THINGS TO CONTINUE FROM, WTF!?! O_<), i don't know either how they'll work with the game and if they'll relate it to the original series or not (i'd prefer No...start a whole different game, don't attempt to explain the change or retcon or whatever), all i hope is that we get an awesome game that, if not like Devil May Cry, at least stands on it's own as a great game regardless of the name.

I've been preaching this same thing since the god forsaken trailer came out. Everybody saw the words Devil May Cry, and then they heard the name Dante. They did not even look at the word reboot. And if they did, they probably don't know what it means.

Facts: Its a new Dante. Its a new game. Its a new story. He smokes.

Its not the Dante everybody knows and loves. He's had his origin story already. This Dante is some scene kid who has a smoking habit. And a scythe... For some reason. Get over it. Play it, then judge. For all we know, this Dante could be more badass then Dante the Awesome. I highly doubt it, but it could be possible.

Also, for those of you who have played Heavenly Sword, or the Demo for Enslaved, you should have an idea of what Ninja Theory can do, and boy do they do it. Though if I can beat this game in six hours like Heavenly Sword, I will kill something.

But at least their storyline is "Teenager's demonic powers come to fruition during puberty and the more he uses them the quicker his hair loses color (as seen at the top of his head)." My only thing to really worry about is the way he HOLDS his cigarette. It makes him seem like a homosexual.

What I don't understand is why reboot DMC? DMC4 sold over 2 million which isn't bad at all, but outsource to Ninja Theory. Twilight Dante suffers from being anorexic, and he doesn't need to smoke to be a badass. This is a prequel to DMC3. The action in the trailer isn't great eventhough its all CG. I mean, he runs up to them, then shoots. Seriously, you have guns, you don't need to get that close. Oh, I forgot they're trying to appeal to the new western hipster crowd, hence the appearance. Unless Enslaved is a sleeper hit, I don't expect it to do well. I played Heavenly Sword and beat it once. I kinda regret buying it now. I still love playing DMC1 and 3, especially 3. The combat and action is way better even if it looks dated by now.

I believe that I read somewhere about a new DMC game a year ago. Capcom wanted to start working on the new DMC game but didn't have the time on their hands. The fans were getting restless. So I guess to appease the fans they let ninja theory do it. I think it kinda backfired on their part. lol
Yeah I LOVED 3 too, it's one of those games you can still keep playing even after you beat it a zillion times and it still is fun
IDK anymore... I think I'm more neutral now on the game... I'm still gonna give it a shot.

Devil May Cry has never been about realism. It's well liked mostly because of the bad-ass half-demon with incredible style and impossibly amazing accuracy with a gun. Have you ever tried flipping a pool table and then shooting the cue ball as it flies past your head knocking it into the rest of the balls which then proceed to accurately take down several targets? Well... I guess Dante did shoot that cue ball from point blank though huh?

I've heard EVIL rumors about the original Devil May Cry developers/director/peoplez pretty much abandoning the DMC series and selling it to Ninja Theory, which is why instead of continuing the series, they're starting anew. And i don't have anything against Ninja Theory, but i JUST CAN'T ACCEPT the idea of the original DMC finishing just like that, simply because the creators found something else to do, lost a bet with the NT people, or whatever else. DEVIL MAY CRY CAN'T END LIKE THAT .____. I hope those are all indeed rumors though, and they're simply giving Ninja Theory a "golden chance" of making their own DMC series, or a prequel of it...though since we're talking about a reboot, it won't exactly be a "prequel", but simply the beginning of another series (meaning, this is NOT the prequel to DMC 3...more like the prequel to DmC, which MIGHT be very similar to DMC3, but still a whole different series).
So, i don't mind a new series, and i don't mind whoever is creating them (i'll "mind" only after i see the results and can properly judge them on their own)...just, either continue with the original series or give it a proper ending, not just "restart it whole" just like that. That's like if .Hack finished in Reminisce...or worse, in Outbreak .___.

Well, a few days after i got a cold and talked to one of my online friends, she also got a cold, and i think another of my online-ish (know the person offline but haven't seen in like a month) friends is also getting a cold...So, i suppose that somehow, for whatever unknown reason but probably related to AIDA and stuffz...you can? o_O; lol

That better be evil rumors! I would lose all faith in that company forever. I doubt Team Resident Evil, the guys who started project DMC, would end it just like that. But who knows lol. I think Ninja Theory needs to stop calling it a REBOOT and start calling it a PREQUEL pretty soon. I think it would personally make it better than it's current situation its in lol.
