Girls, the primary Twilight audience, identify with Bella, not Edward.
You sure? Where I am, it the other way around. I lost count of who many girls had instant orgasms, the minute the werewolf guy took his shirt off during the sequel.

Either Edward announce that he is gay ( we all know you are! Come out and say admit it!!!)
That won't do much. Half the fans will be in denial and just keep saying how awesome and sexy and whatever else crap he is while never bringing up the topic of his sexuality...and the other half will actually be all excited about it and start making homosexual pairings or threesomes and whatever else. Remember, most of the Twilight fans are those girls who go around all "OMFG I'M BI ARE U BI TOO IT'S SO HAWT LET'Z HAVE SEX GUYS & GIRLS ARE INVITED!!!!", and even though they probably scream at the idea of real homo/bisexualism, they sure as hell will brag and orgasm all about it with their f*cking books and movies.
Or he commits suicide ( Please, by all means)
It could work, but the most important part would be HOW...it needs to be epic and painful enough for those little girls to decide to end up their lives and "go with Edward". I think it would be better if Edward was killed somehow, maybe by the characters in the book who no one cared about...or betrayed by the girl, or something. This could also lead to many people trying to kill Stephenie Meyer for writing something like that, but, that's why we love kamikaze attacks.
Somehow I don't think this will do it. Girls, the primary Twilight audience, identify with Bella, not Edward.
Then, let's kill Bella instead? Probably by Edward being the one to betray her, and so, proving those girls that her "fantasy love" will never happen, they'll never be loved by anyone, and so life is completely meaningless to them and they should help themselves by dying early. I like that idea more :D
There is no use moving back, you can't trace back your path

A wooden stake through the heart? LOL

By the werewolf guy!

Either one is fine with me. They're both f*ckin albino anyway.

The werewolf guy is fine though, he actually seems to be the intelligent one, espically since he was in a skit on SNL.

better still, we just get Stephenie Meyer to admit that the book is all about one of her wet dreams, and come clean about everything that she did to Edward in said dream that couldn't be published in the book. Hopefully that would classify the book as - poorly written - literary pornography, and soon after that, it would only get sold in dodgy newsagents that most girls are scared to go into for fear of getting raeped.

As a result of this, people won't buy the books anymore, Stephenie Meyer will realize what she did wrong and stop writing, and all the fangirls will finally realize the scale of the clap that they'd been put through... as well as finally getting their emotions under control...
