free online games

RO2 is.. wow. It's an awesome game, but atm, its so broken. Novice > all; which is reason enough for me not to play it at the moment, when they have some more things worked out, then I'll go back and replay the game. They're the most complete class(Its been like.. a month since I logged on).

Given the title of this topic, the kind of post, and how it just has one link and doesn't really advertise anything but it's just asking (and also how this forum is sometimes thought to be a "hacking" forum) i can't honestly say if this should be considered as Advertising/Off-Topic/spam or not .-.

A game like RuneScape is free, but if you want to do everything you must pay to be a member. Maple Story is another online game where you can play right? Adventure quest is another one, but still have to pay for membership.

Free games: Suck. Hands down. I was always looking for a free MMO, but could never find a good one that I actually stuck with(Granted most were RPGs, and the genre suffers from so many companies flooding the market, hard to find a gem in a pile of crap). I moved up to paid games and it(for some games) is like night and day. WoW for example, beats(IMO-> I haven't played GW yet, though I plan to soon. There are a couple more out there that I've been recommended to try out as well, this is likely to change), every single free RPG out there.

Best free games I can think of: GunZ, Wonderking(It's like MapleStory, but owns it so hard), and Gunbound. I haven't played any of these in awhile though.

Hmmmm.....well I beg to differ. Been playing RF Online (Rising Force Online) since it was pay to play, but it's free now. There's a topic about it here. One of the best damn online games I've played. Free and you don't pay for in-game stuff. Not to mention there is an ungodly amount of people on it each day which makes it Epic. I'm never bored with it anyway XD

Question: How are you guys still playing Rising Force Online? I've been reading this form and now want to play RF, but when I search it I keep getting a notice saying it was shut down the 9th of November 2008. Granted I'm in France, so is it still up in the states?

It's still up everywhere actually. The main servers are shut down yes, but they have been taken over by these guys so you can play on these XD
