free online games
when the say it's free...is it realty free? i mean like the advertisement on top. they say it's free...but really cant trust 'em. Do you think it's worth it?
Re: free online games
some pages say the game is free if you buy it or if you buy an acount.... but some games are worth of it..but you can wait for them becoming free servers like Archlord

So be it.

Re: free online games
I apologize if I speak out of line, seeing as how new a member I am. But there are many MANY free online games out there. Many of which I have played. However, I have a habit of only playing online games for a few weeks, so I never get very far.
I must be off, as I'm being spirited out of the library.

EDIT: I have returned, and instead of "double posting", I shall do the proper thing and just edit my previous post!
Examples of free MMO's I can think of are: Bots, Maple Story, Martial Heroes, Sword of the New World, 2Moons, SilkRoad, Flyff, Trickster, Gunz, Gunbound, Rappelz, Rakion, Monster & Me, Eudamons Online, and Lufia, just to name the few that I've played.

There's going to be a cool sig picture here someday. Just gotta find one that fits. How long could that take?
Re: free online games
Free games: Suck. Hands down. I was always looking for a free MMO, but could never find a good one that I actually stuck with(Granted most were RPGs, and the genre suffers from so many companies flooding the market, hard to find a gem in a pile of crap). I moved up to paid games and it(for some games) is like night and day. WoW for example, beats(IMO-> I haven't played GW yet, though I plan to soon. There are a couple more out there that I've been recommended to try out as well, this is likely to change), every single free RPG out there.
Best free games I can think of: GunZ, Wonderking(It's like MapleStory, but owns it so hard), and Gunbound. I haven't played any of these in awhile though.

My favorite of the ones I played were 2Moons, Bots, Gunbound, and Gunz. I like free online games that try to be original.Dagurasu wrote:Free games: Suck. Hands down. BTW: Even though it's childish, Trickster was very fun.

Re: free online games
when they say free then the game is free for all to play.
but most f2p games include a cash shop,
a cash shop is a place where you use real money to buy omega rare items, that cost millions with ingame money.
the CS item range from clothes. to pets. to exp boosters.

Wander wrote:So far, I have yet to come across any free game that is 1/10 as worth my time as a pay-monthly one. But uhh...how/why is Maplestory having commercials on TV? The guys who run these 'free' games are getting your money. Advertising revenue is the trick.
But I say WoW > All
WoW ftw =D
If you want a free MMO thats good get guild wars, you buy the disks but theres no monthly fee and is #2 MMO right now.khun wrote:how about RO v2?
Re: free online games
RO2 is.. wow. It's an awesome game, but atm, its so broken. Novice > all; which is reason enough for me not to play it at the moment, when they have some more things worked out, then I'll go back and replay the game. They're the most complete class(Its been like.. a month since I logged on).
