one did have great graphics until pt 3 came out then...no. the change for 2 sucked

xenosaga 3 is the best RPG on ps2 xD
sadly to say it in an .hack forum xD but it's true.. best story, best "classic" battle system, best OST (kaijura, like hack GU), best character's backgrounds, best dungeon design, best all

as for Wilhelm, he's not the bad guy, the only "bad" in the game is Dmitri Yuriev

The Black Testamanet was also another bad guy.
Demitri Yuriev's boss battle was pretty awsome though

yeah but not so much like yuriev.. because black testament's background run togheter with Pied Piper, and his anger and bad attitude is too much connected with Ziggy's existence

I like Xenosaga, 1st was hard. 2nd wasn't fun at all. and the thrid is good o far. Hey Vahn Staffear whered you get that pic of momo you have as your avatar?

Absaloutely adore these games. Especially music, characters and story.Im literally playing III right now for the second time. Brilliant and one of a kind.

Rumors say that Xenogear was just a filler for Xenosaga.

Xenogears (square) was the first of the series, but after the completion of the game.
Xenogears II was discontinued and ditched away in the deep and dark archives of square's "never to be completed" games.
this eventually lead t othe point where the team left square and started a studio of their own. (thus monolith was born)
the ditched xenogears II (later known as Xenosaga I) was changed from "Gears" to "Saga" and only loosely relates to Xenogears due to the fact that square still owned the copyrights to all the material.

i higly admired the old square and this is one of the very few reasons why i could nuke the whole damn company back to hell >_< Xenogears PWNS every existing game.

and yes, i know Xenosagas are based on the books:

1) Der Wille Zur Macht
2) Jenseits For Gut Und Böse
3) Also Spracht Zarathustra

xenosaga1 and 3 r tied at the bests

in xenosaga1 shion was cute, the story ruled a equal amount of off time and story. i like to play the games at the casino,customzing the char and robots.

xenosga3 they pulled everthing together and added a database,im sur it helped those who nevr play 1or 2 understand it, the tension start early in the game. Hacox i hated it some levels were designed too hard for anyone to slove and it gave u good prize that u will nevr get...and E.S.s were pretty good

I cant decide whats better

I had got it from a site named danbooru but the server crashed and it hasen't been up even since..sadly.

gears' project (perfect work) chapter 1 is the the era of human expansion, the discovery of Zohar, and the creation of Deus (then chapter 2 is the crash of the eldridge and the birth of cain, miang, the gazel, abel and elly, chapter 3 is kim's story and emeralda's birth, chapter 4 lacan, krelian and sofia)

saga's project is a new project with also 6 chapters, that are
XS1
XS2 [1,2,3, Shion's Arc]
XS3
XS4
XS5 (not Xenogears eh) [4,5,6, chaos and Kosmos' arc]
XS6

these were the plans of all the Takahashi's Xenosaga Project, but since XS3 didn't sell so much even in Japan the project failed =_=

for Haseo(J-man)2.0: because the creator of both the titles is the same person, Tetsuya Takahashi.
