Who has played these games. I love the series kos-mos is awsome she is in a league to her self. Just wish when they did part two didn't screw up the design of all of them!

I liked the design changes, what I didn't like was the worthless E.S. and you got forced to use them. Liked the design changes more in EP III though, and the E.S. were less worthless.

Volume III was fantastic.
Beautifully done, story and gameplay.
The music was fantastic. (Hepatica[KosMos] FTW)

Definately one to look into if you can!

I have all three games and so far im the second disc of part 2. the graphics of 3 are the best!

volume 2 wasn't that great IMHO (and yet I still did and beat every side quest...) hopefully volume 3 will make up for it.

I'm really annoyede that they cut it down to 3 games-- it was originally going to be a 7 game series.

Oh-- are swimsuits still available/unlockable in volume 3?

In my opinion, 3rd was the best. It was really tragic but it was also great for designs and plot lines. 3rd basically explained and gave every confused parts about Xenosaga series.

You're right, and yet...the first one will always be my favorite. I guess because it got me into the series. The first game in a series is always my favorite.

And wtf, why did they take chaos and sap the personality out of him? He was such a sweetheart and so optimistic in the first game! And so mysterious... And so cute looking.

Not too happy with who he turned out to be... I would've been a lot more satisfied if he was just an angel in a sci-fi game. An angel in a sci-fi game is pretty cool. Space Jesus in a sci-fi game is not as cool.

That reminds me, I bought Xenosaga hoping it would be an awesome sci-fi game, just pure science fiction with cool-lookin' characters and a solid plot, and then BAMF, it threw all these religious undertones on me... I should've known since it's loosely related to Xenogears, but I didn't know what Xenogears was back then. >_>

Xenosaga was more focused on religious beliefs and further scifi style, meanwhile Xenogear was more of inner scifi style.

Rumors say that Xenogear was just a filler for Xenosaga.

but as for chaos, he knew Shion and KOS-MOS timing was near, and that he was worried that the Rich Boy (of Vector -- forgot his name... Wilhelm or something). would be dominating the world etc.

In a legend of story, Wilhelm is actually based similar to "The Longinus", "Pontius Pilate" , "Herod". While chaos isn't really Space Jesus but more of the follower of disciples (Possibly John from Revelation

Welhelm wasn't actualy a bad guy he was trying to save the universe but he was doing it thought unnessecary means... his method was to put a giant reset button on the universe so he could restart the universe if something screwed up. :p

uh, some of the BEST armor in the game and boosts every characters' agility-- hardly useless Crono.

Where they the best armor?, because I remember them sucking in all stats except agility or luck.

I say they were useless and just fan service, video game chicks just don't do it for me so they just sat in my inventory.

I bought the game and played it but never finished. I might play it again after i complete .hack//G.U. Vol2. that what i did with most game i haven't finished.

Agility on Kos-Mos and Junior were key for "shield-breaking" in volume 2-- especially against bosses or monsters with 4 shield zones. I didn't give a damn about the fan service, I do care about boosted stats though.

I haven't played it in a while but i think the Swimsuit doubled ur exp gain in the first game or something along those lines. The stats may have sucked on the most part but the bonuses it had were enough for me to risk it and send someone out in battle with it. I think it was only equipable to female characters in the first one.

On a side note: which game do you think was the best so far?

I didn't like the artwork/character designs for V01 but I loved the changes they made later on, in V02 and specifically in V03.
I was quite fond of Shion, KOS-MOS, and Ziggy... but none of the other characters really - Momo was excessively irritating. >_>
I actually loved the religious theology mixed with the sci-fi/fantasy setting though - the storyline was what makes it a classic for me.
Space Jesus in a science-fiction game..
is what makes Xenosaga one of the best and most unique RPGs ever made, in my opinion. XD

Xeno 1: Best one gameplay wise.
Xeno 2: Graphics and Story was awsome
