The examples isn't the problem. What you were saying with them is what i was talking about.
But feel free to give good examples. Make sure you actually check up your examples next time too <.< Godfather isn't a good one either since it's available on both pc and xbox.

And it's not a fight unless someone heats it up. In this case, that seems to be what you're doing. I'm sorry i think you're wrong. We wouldn't be having a discussion if i didn't tell you so, now would we? Especially in a thread like this.

He was the one who was a smartass by just posting that one-word post and replying with the tone he did to my post. But fine, be like that. I like how you people always come and say "Argument closed" like that. I'd take that as you giving up due to not having more to say, but that's just me. If you don't like me saying what i think, then don't start an argument against me. That's MY final word on this.

Now can we move back to the whole thing about the actual consoles and how the genres aren't tied to specific consoles anymore?

If you have a problem with how someone posts either drop it or report it.(and im not mini modding, but I am trying to keep this thread open so when the wars actually do start we can compare/contrast the systems.)

But if youre going to flame keep it at minium (since it is a console war saying there wont be any flames would be stupid)

No he's not. He's just speaking for a game system that's being abused with nearly no say for it here.

Oh and i wasn't trying to say you were wrong or lying or anything about the 360 graphics thing. I was just suprised someone like you who seems to be behind the PS3 was saying the 360 has better graphics. Almost no PS3-only person seems to want to admit that they're atleast equal

They are, but give the developers are few years and we could see some differences being made. Although if I could say one thing to gamers, it would be that they shouldn't say which console is better just by graphics alone. Look at the PS2 vs. Xbox 1 and the PSP vs. DS. So far the winning side was the one with the most fun games. One may have had better specs and visual experience but if the game itself is boring then it's going to most likely fail.

Yes, Aku doesn't give up in an argument. But that's only because he knows what he's talking about. Believe me, I got into arguments with him too and end up losing because I'm just some stupid idiot who runs out of resources to back up on.

That may be, that is because he has his opinion and you had yours. It happens. Besides, you seem to always to start an argument with everytime you say Xbox is better at something. So in the near furture, if you mention something about the 360 expect an argument to come up.

hey i forgot about pc's. i say they only good for online gaming though. i dnt take to the offline gaming for pc, leave that to consoles.

I think the pc may be on its last leg.

My reasons?

1) Both the 360 and PS3 are supposed to be upper versions of it.
2) Online games are "supposed" to be better on it versus pc.
3) Most of the time a virus wont screw over your 360 or PS3 like it would a pc.

I personally believe the pc will live alongside the consoles. In terms of quality games, i think the consoles will overshadow if a bit, but it'll still stand strong. It's way more accessible and has the whole upgrade aspect to it (which also is one of the downsides obviously)

my little brother wont shut up about the Wii

I think the real console war is between PS3 and xbox360. since some people don't really think about PCs when they think console war

presonally, my opinion is that PS3 will come ontop. oh and btw, believe it or not, Oblivion's playstation version looks better than the xbox360 one.

PS: don't get me wrong i like the games on the pc and xbox360. i'm just saying what i think will be the top dog this year.

Point taken.

The other reasons is once you do get upgrades for it usually lasts for awhile. Versus the consoles who dont know how to reuse hardware (cept for the Wii to some extents).

Still theres a fine line for online gamers who would rather do keyboard and mouse to a controller.

Some say that a keyboard and mouse is better for...

1) Real Time stradegy (aka Warcraft and Starcraft series)
2) MMOs (Such as FFXI, Eve Online, Wow and Maple Story)
3) First person shooters (Like Halo, CS and Battlefield)
4) Run and Gun - (although its basically another form of FPS's)

Thats what my older bro says but hey Nintendo has always been around even in the toughest of times. He also believes the 360 will come out on top.

Actually from my friend told me about Oblivion is that even with the updates the game still has glitches. Pretty bad at that.

Still if the ps3 will stop blowin up I think itll be fine.

It's a 11-page breakdown of all the technical aspects of the PS3 and the 360, putting up all the information that has been revealed about them, explaining the details and comparing them.
Their conclusion was that they both have different goods and bads the in the end equal eachothers. They also said that the exclusive games lineup is pretty equal too and i suppose that's true since some of the hottest games are multi-platform.
I haven't read through this yet (don't really want to go through a detailed text like this with how i feel right now), but i sure will give it a read later on.
This should probably put a definitive end to the whole "this console is more powerful than that console" deal ^^

The PC. So many online games, really fun. All Playstation, Xbox, and whatever other consoles out there have games that eventually end. Online games can go on forever.

Worry not, the consoles have mmorpgs too =D
The Ps2 and 360 both have Phantasy Star Universe and Final Fantasy XI, and more is to be expected :D
