I found ep 15 interesting from Kuhn's perspective.

In G.U.  you find out he used to be second in Kestrel, before leaving ot create his own clan, Canard which Haseo ends up inheriting. From the way ep 15 went it looks like this is the events that lead him to leave Kestrel and make Canard.

The release date does make me more inclined to believe CDJapan though, since it's out before vol 2 and 3 of G.U. But it may take until the release to confirm which is right.
