You start off as a Twin Sword and in the middle of GU, you get an upgrade after completing a quest which allows you to use Brandish weapons.

He will get his third Class in the second game, which allows him to use Flicker weapons.

If that doesn't explain it, I have no idea what you're talking about.

what im trying to ask is that...uhh oh! is it because tri-edge data drained haseo that he doesn't have his sythe? cuz when he fought him the first time,tri-edge like looked at it and it shattered.

Underneath that news article, they seem to have info regarding the first volume of the .hack//GU+ Manga.

The World magazine appears to have info on the next GU game.

The concept of a japanese media company being like "Hell, let's just skip our country and go straight to North America with this new product without releasing it in the language that it was originally created in and then translate it to english straight away" seems kind stupid.

Or maybe it's just me.

Um... Unless you live in certain parts of Europe or something, they pay more, actually... They also get American movies several months after we do, and they have to pay twice as much as we do to see them...

It does, but they occasionally do it, like with Soul Calibur III. No one knows why...

That's what bothered me so much,
I anticipated to see more of Tri-edge in the second game, but as explained already he was just like Skeith as a device to get Haseo deeper.

i'd assume Orca will be the new Tri-edge in the 2nd volume and Balmung in the 3rd volume. who knows. they might both appear in the 2nd volume leaving the 3rd volume open.>>

haha could you imagine a surprise announcement that a 4 volume would be in the works? though i know that won't happen it'd be funny to see the reactions from people.

I want a surprise announcement that Vol.3 has a new main character, but I somehow don't think they'd do that, differs from their business plan too greatly...

somehow strangely enough i can see alberio returning to the world... if you've read ai buster 2 you might know where i'm coming from. the way he thinks and what he says and what he does even if he does return i could really see him coming back to the world to face the god who banished him and the what lycoris' world has become. i'd like him to at least be a bonus character you know... like you beat the 4rd volume and you get an e-mai lfrom cc administration or pai/yata or helba or a hacker or whoever saying offering you the alberio character avatar.. who knows.. >>

Even though the God that banished him is now long dead?

I very much doubt any characters outside the games, Liminality and SIGN would show up in GU, simply because the information given with the game through the Terminal Disk largely surrounds those three mediums. Zefie could possibly appear, as she does appear to be mentioned, but I get the feeling Aura would have assimilated her into herself once she was complete.

One thing I can tell you is that we won't be getting any PC body other than Haseo.

they need to let ppl try every job instead of havin one just play a multi-weapon. To me ,for some strange, developers like making jobs that no one can play...Like in wow the pigs had Geomancers. Im like why cant I play a Geomancer. Just stupid crap like that. Why bother making something if it isnt used you know? .hack games have all the jobs. And youre stuck playing one when you could play the others.

They could even make an extra disk that lets you play the game as if was a mmorpg with your own custom chara. Then you can play on or offline. They need to make a .hack online game based in TWR:2

Being able to create your own character would defeat the purpose of the .hack games, which is to tell a story. Besides, being able to use Data-Drain or being an Epitaph-Wielder without a level cap is something only Kite or Haseo can do.

There's no room in the GU games for two languages, let alone at least ten different choices of characters with corresponding cutscenes featuring them, and as the games go on, there does appear to be even more Classes, so the continuation idea wouldn't work either.

What you're suggesting is a GU version of Fragment, which, looking at the all-new gameplay, may not be a bad idea. However, it may be quite repetitive if there's no story to follow.

thats exactly what i mean. there is nothing stopping the exliled alberio from returning since morganna would not be able to stop him.. gameplay-wise i mean is they could give you a 'secret' bonus character to play with similar to the sign characters given to you at the end of Quarentine.

Apart from being incapable of facing the God that banished him, Morganna also gave Albireo purpose within The World, without her, he has no reason to play.

Besides, AI Buster seems to be a stand-alone story, Shugo is more likely to show up than Albireo.
