Aina and Language.
Just decided to share different meanings of the word "Aina" to get some crazy speculation underway.
'Aina, a word in the Arabic language meaning where?
'aina, a word in the Hawaiian language meaning land, or soil (Earth).
Aina, a word in the Swahili language meaning kind, sort, class, or type.
Aina, a word in the Finnish language meaning always.
'aina is swedish slang for the police.
Aina, a word in the Assyrian language meaning eye.
Aina means "life" in the Malagasy language ( spoken in Madagascar )
Yes, I know, I'm amazing. Now discuss.

o.O And i thought it was just a name as original as Haseo...
If you take all the meaning and rearrange it, it sounds like if Aina means "Eye that always lives in the land of its kind"

It could be...I just arranged the meanings and formed that word, and with the description you gave to each, it surely makes sensehaseoxth wrote:O_O..the eye refering to morganna....the land refering to the world....and its kind refering to AIs?TheSorrow wrote:o.O And i thought it was just a name as original as Haseo...

I didnt use the slang because of it being a...well...slang. Usually slangs are just misformations of language and mean nothing trulyhaseoxth wrote:i noticed that TheSorrow didnt use the poilce thing....maybe Aina must "police"the place where her kind live...as in watch over it...think about it.

but it would make sense seeing as the Ultimate AI is to watch over the internet...as policing is to watch.TheSorrow wrote:I didnt use the slang because of it being a...well...slang. You gotta get some sort of award for that :/TheSorrow wrote: If you take all the meaning and rearrange it, it sounds like if Aina means "Eye that always lives in the land of its kind"
I had never really wanted Eina to be the future Ultimate AI for 'The World'. -_-;; But seeing the several definitions of 'Eina' AT provided it's fully possible CC corp (The real one) could like.... know those and picked that name for her purposely. (Somewhat like Aura's name. Usually Meaning Peaceful, Light, presence or Protector in most languages hence why that name was given to her.... and it's just a cool name.)
You get a NADS badge of awesomeness, Eden Prosper. It stands for Not A DumbasS.

I think I remember hearing in some interview or something that Aura's name was chosen both because it meant "Light" and that her name is made up of Au and Ra, the atomic symbols for Gold and Radium, two precious metals.
