MGS4 for 360

You can believe me or not, but there are rumors jumping around saying Konami is considering to publish MGS4:Guns of the Patroits for Microsoft's 360 console. The reason behind this is because the PS3 had a rough launch, and with the price of developing games for the PS3 being so huge Konami is being tempted to jump ship to make a profit.

Now I know what most of you are thinking, and when I most of you I mean two two mods and a certain MGS fan, "This is just a rumor! Where's the hard evidence to back this up?"

Well there isn't any, and yes I know that. But lets just think about this for a minute, what if the rumor is indeed true and Konami is really thinking on making MGS4 for the 360? Not only could this be the fatal blow to Sony but it could help Microsoft dominate the market!

I myself don't believe this rumor for an inch! However I've had a fare share of being wrong about this stuff, just ask Aku. So would Konami go over to the 360 or remain truthful towards Sony?

I really doupt it will ever happen, MGS was created being a PS game and will end being a PS(3) game, even with that game for Game Cube(sorry, forgot the name)

Now, if it were released for the XBOX360, it would most likely go the way of the XBOX version of Substance. After that, I doubt they'd make the same mistake twice.

Heard about this also, but I think Kojima stated explicitly that it's going to be a PS3 exclusive after all these rumors.

dont forget, that the previous mgs games were also supposed to be sony exclusives, yet they ended up on the xbox

I wouldn't put it past them.....they put MGS2:Sons of Liberty on the Xbox so I would not put it past them if they did....just like the rumors of Kingdom hearts 3 getting put on the 360.

I would'nt put it past them because they have done things to surprise us before.

but...MGS4 on the 360.........i say it could happen that's why I vote yes.

Having read what I've read, I seriuosly believe there's a 5% chance it would get ported. Just because they ported Substance to the XBOX doesn't mean at all that MGS4 will be ported. I mean, it's not like they ported Metal Gear: Portable Ops to the DS or Metal Gear Solid 3 to the XBOX. So just because there's been one XBOX port doesn't mean this will be another one. And as the article said above, it's confirmed to be PS3 exclusive. Not "exclusive for now."

If they make it, it wouldn't be any surprise. I mean they've thrown a metal gear out on Xbox and Gamecube already.

But actually if they DID make it for the 360 I'd love to buy it, and see how the Xbox Graphics would handle a Hideo Kojima special. Cause Subsisitence for MGS2 was pretty neat-o.

i think if they do it would be a few years after the PS3 one.but i really don't think it'll happen.

Hideo Kojima has never said that Metal Gear Solid 4 will be ported to the XBOX 360. In fact (as shown earlier) they've said the exact opposite numerous times. On top of that, I doubt it will because some of the game's mechanics and features are being designed specifically around the PS3 controller.
