An interesting idea on how to continue the series

I have no idea where I should post this so I put it here...
ANYWAYS
I think it'd be cool if after this game's out they create a .hack// Gu Vol. 0. Epitaph.
This game would allow you to progress through the story through the adventure of one of the epitath users, for example say you chose to use Atoli;
You would be playing through the story from her PoV so some things would be changed such as the fact that instead of getting E-Mails from Pi, Kuhn, Silabus and Gaspard you would get E-Mails from Mastu and Sakiki with the area words. Also Atoli wouldn't participate in all the events that haseo does, like AIDA fighting in Dilicious Past's Weed Eater, she would say be PK busting with Sakiki in some other area.
Also your Member Adress list wouldn't include all the members that Haseo's does, where as he would have Kuhn, Silabus, Pi, Gaspard and Piros you would get before the end of the first 3rd, Sakiki, Haseo, Pi(The first visit to Moon Tree's @Home after Haseo's AIDA busting), Silabus(Arena training) ect. Plus after the events with Sakiki in Vol 2 she would go out to fight AIDA on her own using Avatar Innis.

Yeah I can't really explain it well but, .hack GU is a great game where it would be possible to control any character without changing the format at all(ex: Allcharacters have normal attacks, charged attacks, block, offencive attacks ect.) and that's too good to pass up, even Avatars have similar attack types ex: they all have some basic projectile and 3 other moves

Sounds like that manga version of .Hack//IMOQ, but in Blackrose's point of view
Doesnt sounds very good, actually. Its better probably that they make a Fragment version of GU (onlinexoffline), but i doubt they will...

That'd be kinda dumb, since most of the other characters don't experience enough of what happens to be any fun. If you want to "continue" the series you'll need a whole new story.

I agree. And if they DID do something like that, it wouldn't be a game all on its own. Another Birth didn't become a game; a novel, yes, but not a game. So if they did something from the POV of Atoli or Kuhn, they would most likely make it a novel or manga as a filler story.

Not that that's a bad idea you've got there, I just think they wouldn't put so much effort into basically recreating the same game~~, you know? ^^~~

I'm really stumped about what will happen after G.U. I just hope that The World will be scrapped for a new game. I mean, The World is it's origin, but I'm tired of "The World". I bet the creators are too, or they must have another trump up their sleeve....

Really, you are? I'm not. If anything, I wish it would go on forever...moreover, I miss The World R:1. It finally hit me today just how much I miss it in comparison with R:2. They feel totally and completely different. But, I guess that is their intention.

Not that I dislike R:2. I like R:2 immensely, but it has nothing on R:1 to me and I'd give almost anything to go back to that version.
