Okay Im just saying this as a spoiler but I really think Ovans not bad I mean I was watching the trailer when I saw Ovan standing infront of Einas Chair like hes defending her Express ye thoughts here

I don't think Ovan is good...

I don't think he's bad, either, but I can't really accept him as being "good."

Isn't there a scene in the trailer where Eina looks like she's crying when he's in the same room as her? I'm not sure he's protecting her as much as he is...maybe...trying to keep her a secret, or trying to prevent something that concerns her.

Or, he could be defending her, but that doesn't make him a good guy, just somebody who might have some kind of motive that causes him to involve himself with her.
