This thread is basically dealing with game trailers in general. Whether which one you like, one you couldnt expect, or whatever.

In general, I'd have to say that romance is the most effective way to get me involved in a trailer. I just wish they used the love angle more for game trailers (though that's not to say they never do; just not that often). For movie trailers you see it all the time, however. I suppose that's because it's easier when the plot revolves around two lovers, and there are very few games available where the objective is to express love and affection for someone else.

Then of course there's fighting, that's always a good pull. 8)

I can get tired of the same old stories of the
same old games. Example: Megaman.

Sometimes for video games I look for stuff that is complete new and original. Kinda like a mix between Toko Bots and Loco Roco.

Hey i was going to say the same thing lol. You read my mind haha. Yea To me it's usually gameplay to show me how cool the game will feel like to play it and story if the game is going to be interesting to actually play the whole entire game or series.
