Do "The Hangman" and "The Moon" becoming

I haven't been able to locate any in any of the root towns I have access to. I was wondering if I had to go to a field to collect them after slaying pacific monster(s) or go into dungeon and just randomly open chests. Can they still be found at a pacific shop in a root town. Thanks.

well, in these games, The Moon and The Hanged Man both become obtainable only in dungeons...i just started buying armor that gave me those powers instead of finding the items themselves...

hmm. Thanks for the information. It is kinda disappointing that you can't buy them at Root town anymore at this point of the game. Though I agree about finding armor with the paralyze and sleep skill.

Yeah they help out big time against monster with a lot of HP. The Hackleberry Mushrooms found in Lambda Bursting Passed Over Aquafield are vulnerable to both or just one: either "The Moon" or the "The Hangman".

First of all, it's "specific".

All the status scrolls (ones starting in "the") can only be found randomly in chests. However, they're EXTREMELY common. I have 99 of each. Just open every chest.

everytime i use those scrolls i miss, keep in mind i am talking about stronger 90's monsters.

Some monsters are just more resilient to the effect of those scrolls; even if they can be effected by it, doesn't mean they will be easily.
