The manga is definately one of my all-time favorites, at some points it may seem a little kiddy at first but that's definately not true(especially for anyone who knows about the later arcs xP But shutting up on that). I can't have the same undying love for the anime, curse BeeTrain for making everything so...un-violent, filler-filled, kid-happy and just plain weird at some moments. But it's still a great anime with it's highs that're lovely. So anyhow, place for anyone to discuss the manga and/or anime.
NOTE- If you're like me and have been keeping up with Tsubasa in Japan a bit a little something to keep all happy. Please keep all posts on events and happenings that happen AFTER the current volume of Tsubasa out in America in spoiler tags. There're some huge spoilers and no one wants them really... well, spoiled.
As of now the last episode of the anime out is Episode 40- Black Steel.
Really don't read the following unless you've read... I believe volume 13 of Tsubasa. It's spoiler-tastic.
My eyes got a little teary in this episode but I didn't full out get emotional like I did when reading the part in the manga. Poor Kuro-kun! Animation was great and I loved seeing this episode after the wave of fillers. Violence was toned down. A LOT. Kurogane's mom got stabbertized. Yet I saw nooo blood actually around her. Sure it was on the dagger/sword but she didn't BLEED. Kurogane's dad's arm was turned into stone. Oh and magical rings that bind Kurogane. WTF. So they have to totally cut out Tomoyo scarring Kurogane's hand? Besides those little things I actually love this episode. So sad... but they got rid of the group actually ENTERING Lecourt... your thoughts?
