Episode 5: I thought tri-edge was going to come out :O

Seriously, when i saw the mark thingie i thought tri-edge was going to come out and drain shino. O.o anybody else think this?

Same, I mean, it's only ep 5.. And it's gonna be around 25 episodes right? I bet Shino's gonna get DD'd in the last episode or something.

The way I see it, as Haseo is seen being Data-Drained near the beginning of GU, it will either end with Shino being Data-Drained or Haseo being named the Terror of Death.

Episode 5 is way too soon for Shino to be Data-Drained, though this mark suggests that someone may have been Data-Drained, we just do not know who.

I'll have to agree, i suppose it would be to soon, but once again i agree in thinking "Sombody" just got data-drained.

And yeah, i think the ending for roots won't be happy or anything.. no.. it's going to be where either Haseo, or Shino gets drained.

In Episode 13 of SIGN "Castle" was a large part of the series, introducing Harald, and adding in the gray line between truth and lies. This is where Morganna, outright betrays Tsukasa, going as far as forcing him int odeath and regeneration, to delete those portions of his memory.

26 episodes (half a year at one episode per week) is a very common length for anime series. I expect that the attack on Shino is most likely to occur either at the midpoint of the series, with the second half dedicated to Haseo's quest for revenge, or very close to the end. The appearance of TriEdge and Haseo's third form in the opening and ending lead me to believe that the former is more likely.

According to the broadcast schedule for TV-Tokyo there are definitely 26 episodes, just like SIGN. The final episode airs September 27th, probably right around when the second game comes out, so that timing might imply something too...

I would think the attack would happen somewhat close to the end of the series..maybe a couple episodes to show Haseo change for the guy he is now to what we see him like in the teaser trialer of GU

It would be weird if the opening changed. None of the other .hack tv series have done that, and yet you'd think they'd have to if the climax is in the middle...

i bet its gonna be around episode 10-12 that shell get DDed, she is now starting to build up relationship in the newest episode and in series its a bit standard that its between that number, well at 26 episodes series then
