Not too sure what I think of this service. Seems very promising, but also a rip off for those that already own older games. Hopefully Sony does something for those that already own copies, but either allowing for a "free" or "cheaper" upgrade charge such as how games like CoD and Battlefield 4 had for PS3 to PS4 editions.
I would love to see them bring in PS2 games, especially .hack!

I'm sincerely hoping that the service offers a chance for people to play .hack for the first time. I still have all my copies of all the games and my PS2 plugged up.

That being said, I don't think the service is for people that have the game already. Because, if you have the game you could just play it. I think it's designed for new generations and people that missed out. Gives them a chance to play older games on systems that are long since gone and games that if you try to get off ebay are gonna cost you quite a bit. There'd be no logical way for them to validate who owns the game already and then figure out a way to give them special treatment.

Yeah that is a good point about "catching up" for those who didn't get to experience the now "old-gen" games. Hopefully if they do bring .hack in and if it popular enough the devs will see that and make a new games for "next-gen." Of course this is just very wishful thinking on my part.

Well let's wish hard together. Cause a new .hack game would be awesome. I'd even settle for a HD remake of the ones we have.

If it's .hack, even though I already own it, I'd probably buy it again on this service just because. (づ^-^)づ

Well, once I actually receive my PSNow beta code I can let you guys know if .hack anything is available. As of now, Sony has told me its only going for PS3 games, but I bet it will eventually have PS2 and PS1 games. I'm actually fairly excited for this service, especially since my Vita has been seeing more action with inFamous Second Son (easily the best Remote play game).
