They're most likely the PS2 games, just being run through emulators like PCSX2. The benefit to emulators so far is that if you have an amazing graphics card you can run them in higher than original quality. The downside is that you need a serious gaming pc just to run them in the first place, and it's much cheaper to just make a modded PS2.

Ok, thanks Erranty. Is there a free download or paid emulator? If its a free download, can you send me a link?

Just google PCSX2, the emulator and plugins are free. The required BIOS to operate it is illegal however, therefore you won't find it on the official site and will need to Google on your own the BIOS files to operate the emulator. Or make one yourself with a PS2 and the proper cable/software combo.

Depending on your computer you will probably be able to play the original 4 games with no problem, but the G.U. games require a powerful computer to run, with slowdowns abundant through out all 3 games. Since my PS2 stopped working this is the only way I can play these games these days and it bums me out that I can only play G.U. in slow motion. I can't wait for an HD collection if it ever happens.

This is a great example of what you can do with PSCX2, but from the description it's about a $500 PC the guy's using (by today's standards).

Just did another google search on how to dump the BIOS, looks easy enough. Two methods you can use are an ordinary USB flash drive with a program burned on a CD-R disc, or LAN. Depending on what model PS2 you own.
