The Walking Dead
Do any of you guys play it? I downloaded the season pass and thus I now have to wait for the next chapter coming out this month, its more on story than action, however there are some moments when you have to fight, and all the things you do will have an effect that will come to play sooner or later, its a point and click adventure game for all major consoles and PC.
Re: The Walking Dead
I heard it was very much like a quick-time event game.

Re: The Walking Dead
there are a few parts that are quick time events but a majority of it is point and click and making split decisions, some can change the storyline quite dramatically.

Looks interesting, by point and click you mean you just look around and click things that have a purpose?

Re: The Walking Dead
well yeah, some objects are interact-able, like doors or some objects and then there some objects can be taken by you into your inventory , like say a fire axe or a shotgun, its mostly a matter of using your brain to figure out problems and some good reflexes when taking out the dead.Konpeki Ken Kitsune wrote:Looks interesting, by point and click you mean you just look around and click things that have a purpose?

Re: The Walking Dead
I'm pretty sure 3 is beware of bathrooms, you would not believe how true that was, there was a walker lurking in one and I had to save Clementine before it tried eat her, on another note not all items stay in your inventory forever, like that shotgun I mentioned, besides I only found 1 shell for it, a majority of the weapons are melee since noise attracts walkers, which can be used to your advantage.Konpeki Ken Kitsune wrote:That's when you follow the rules from ZombieLand![]()

Re: The Walking Dead
Just finished episode 2 and I must say, all those things I did in episode 1 ended up with consequences, in the long run I'm not a capable leader but I'm hell on wheels if its protecting the people I care about, on another note, my decision at the end of episode 2 made me feel like a total scumbag.

Finished both episodes. I don't really know the consequences of the choice I made in episode 1. There are some excellent suspenseful moments in episode 2. At the end of episode 2. Nothing is black and white anymore. Definitely looking forward to episode 3. I like the statistic of choices other players have made in comparison to my own.

Although I ruined my relationship with clementine due to some choices I made, I'll try to fix it if I can, although my chances with lilly are all gone because of larry's death.zerokoolpsx wrote:Finished both episodes. I think that event is scripted. I sided to save him and he still died. Funny how Larry treats you throughout the game. I still wanted to help him. Also consoled Lily. My Clementine thinks I'm a homicidal killer. Will the game be over if we let Clementine die?Kaori wrote:Although I ruined my relationship with clementine due to some choices I made, I'll try to fix it if I can, although my chances with lilly are all gone because of larry's death.zerokoolpsx wrote:Finished both episodes. Re: The Walking Dead
still, siding with lilly gets you assistance in the fight later on, I only killed one of the brothers in the farm and left the other one to the walkers, I also took the supplies and I think clementine hates me now for that.zerokoolpsx wrote:I think that event is scripted. Re: The Walking Dead
I killed them both. I didn't want to kill the 2nd one. It said kick on the prompt. I was like sure, why not. Kicks him into the fence. Didn't see that one coming. I also took the supplies. Its the most logical choice. I wish we can question Clementine. Do you want to starve or eat? Who did you save in Chapter 1? I saved Doug.Kinda interested how things would play out if I made different choices.Kaori wrote:still, siding with lilly gets you assistance in the fight later on, I only killed one of the brothers in the farm and left the other one to the walkers, I also took the supplies and I think clementine hates me now for that.zerokoolpsx wrote:I think that event is scripted. Carly, she's taking doug's death pretty well though, although she does question me why her? On another note who did you try to save at hershel's farm?zerokoolpsx wrote:I killed them both. I picked Shawn. I was shocked at the outcome. I don't really like Kenny that much for leaving me there. What about you?Kaori wrote:Carly, she's taking doug's death pretty well though, although she does question me why her? Duck, as a result of my loyalty to kenny he keeps offering to let me and clementine join him on his boat, kenny isnt leader material but you can count on him when you need to.zerokoolpsx wrote:I picked Shawn. Re: The Walking Dead
The funny thing with Kenny is I sided with him when they thought Duck was bitten. In episode 2, he doesn't trust me and remembers for what I did to him. What? At least he got decked by Larry which was quite humorous.Kaori wrote:Duck, as a result of my loyalty to kenny he keeps offering to let me and clementine join him on his boat, kenny isnt leader material but you can count on him when you need to.zerokoolpsx wrote:I picked Shawn.
