Xvallia

In a kingdom, built only for people with extraordinary and unique abilities. People with elemental powers, shape shifters and all other sorts of beings you only imagined to exist. Forbidden from normal society because normal people would be scared or call them freaks, maybe even try to kill them. In this Kingdom, known as Xvallia, all races of "unique individuals" live together in peace. Some may think otherwise and try to attack others, but not everyone is a good guy.
At first it started off with a united kingdom with everyone happy, but a knight of the kingdom's king changed this. His name was Za Darkenzu. One day Za attacked the kingdom, getting people to join his dark alliance. The kingdom split into three sides. The loyalist, rebels and neutralists. The loyalists remained loyal to the kingdom or king.
The rebels fought against it trying to kill the king and destroy the kingdom. The neutrals did not care about neither, they just fought for themselves. Who's side will you be on?

Wail of the Banshee- Can let out a wail that can do anything from knockout or kill those who hear it. He can direct it or just affect everything within earshot. Granted by his Banshee mother.
Ride the Blood- Can experience some memories of something or someone by tasting it’s blood. Granted by his Daione Sidhe father.
Fey Glamours- Can create life-like illusions. They can sometimes function as what they appear to be or can simply be illusions. Powerful fey can create permanent glamours. Xander is one such fey.
Fey Healing- Recovers from most injuries faster than mortals and never scar.
Iron Vulnerability- Iron is very dangerous to those of fey blood. Note, blood is not pure enough to serve this function. It's mere touch causes them immense pain and injuries caused by it take a long time to recover from and always scar.

Bio: Xander’s parents met, and parted in a night. He has no idea who his father is and in true fey fashion, doesn’t care much. He cares little for others, hence why he’s chosen neither side in the conflict, but he may act on impulse and help someone. His banshee blood often draws him to places of death where he will sing a lament for the dead and dying or if he's near the family of someone who's recently dead or dies while he's in the vicinity of the family he will give them the news and sing a lament for them. He mostly spends his days wandering the rivers of the kingdom, putting on different guises as they suit his fancy.

He didn't like the castle, Big, Menacing, Overworked, and it was never really needed. Who were we supposed to keep out? Xvallia never had an enemy, nobody ever came to Xvallia to start trouble, He heard the kings old friend, Za Darkenzu, was coming, and Exia was given the job of showing him to the audience chamber

((Xvallia is the kingdom in which this story takes place AK. Everyone lives there. Based on what I'm inferring from Kite's first post, the rebellion has has not yet broken into open warfare.

The rebels, such as yourself, are trying to destroy Xvallia for some reason. Za Darkenzu has the loyalty of all rebels and is leading them towards some end. As you are a rebel you may wish to private message KiteXX and figure out why you want to destroy the kingdom. Maybe it's just because you're a demon and sowing death and destruction is what you do. Maybe it's because your an angsty teenager who hates his father, who happens to be a major patriot, and you're acting out by trying to destroy what your father holds most dear. It could be anything.

The neutrals are just living their lives, like Exia, or pursuing their own goals. Take Xander, he doesn't care what happens so long as he can do what he likes and what his blood tells him to do.))

Xander's wandering had taken him to the gates of the castle. In his musings he hadn't realized where he was until he ran into a guard's chest. He blinked several times before he blurted out. "I'm sorry about your wife." "What?" Was his reply and Xander began a quiet lament, so as not to draw attention. "Hey, that's not funny kid. Everyone knows the banshee are all women." Said the second guard putting a hand over Xander's mouth. Xander stopped singing for a moment. You do not interfere with a shee delivering such news, and this guard was about to learn why. He stepped away from the guard and let out an ear piercing wail that drew the attention of all who could hear him, which was many people, and the guard that had stopped him fell forward into Xander's waiting arms. He set the man down and continued his song. The first guard ran from his post. Xander suspected he was going home to see his dead wife and, based on his age, a newborn. Several guards came to see what was going on. Two more took up the now abandoned post and the rest "escorted" Xander to a holding cell. Banshee or not, he had attacked a guard. He waited patiently in his cell. The bars were made of iron, just for one such as himself, not that he had any desire to leave just yet. There was a someone awaiting sentencing in the cell next to his.

"I have othe things to do than be someone elses slave" The guards always tried to look like menacing people even though most of them were doting parents, "Like what Exia?" he thought on it, but this was the first time he had been at a loss for words...What do i usually do?............ oh yeah.... slave...

Tear was running from a bunch of gaurds witha loaf of long bread in her mouth. She jumped on roof tops doing flips to land on the next near by building after the next. SHe took the bread out of her mouth taking a bite of it. With her mouth still full, " Come on guys why do you always have to chase me? Don't you ever learn you will never catch me." Just as she had swalloed and was about to jump on to a roof top lower than the curent one seh was on a gaurd had jumped infront of her onto the roof. This took her by shock but she quickly regained her witty confident attitude. " Come on now it was only a loaf of bread. Can't we all just be friends?" She asked nowing that she wouldn't get an awnser. She jumped over the gaurd as he lunged at her. She quickly picked up her pace and manged to lose her followers and was now sitting in an allie way. She breathed heavily in and out exuasted. The gaurds had almost caughter her this time.

-Flying Fortress: Jaenelle can cover herself in hard, crimson scales to protect herself.

Jaenelle chuckled to herself as she watched Tear escape from the Guards yet again from high above. Though she'd never actually met the Monkey-girl in person, She'd found the pursuit enjoyable to watch while soaring around and had become something of a ritual to watch. It was never quite the same either, as today proved. The Guards were learning and though they'd underestimated the agile girl, they'd managed to get closer then before. "Heh heh... Maybe I'll go meet her one day. Maybe I'll even get a chance to save her..." Jaenelle said to herself as she stopped her lazy circles and winged off.

He saw a monkey girl runing into an alleyway, then he decided to walk to her, he was bored with nothing more to do after all "So, why are you here? hiding from those guards behind me i suppose right?" he crossed his arms and turned back, noticing the guards had run past "Give me a reason of why shouldn't call the guards"

She turned to the boy with a small piece of the loaf of bread still left hanging out of her mouth. At first she ahd the look of confusion then she turned wide eyed. She droped the remaining piece of bread onto the dirt ground. "No! Don't call those meanies over here! SHHHHH!!!!" She imedeatley stood up and put her hand around the boys mouth. "Don't you dare call them! I just spent over an hour running away from them and taking this bread!" She akwardly shuffled the boy along with her farther away from the opening of the allie way father in so that no gaurds would here them and come investigating. While she did so she her firm grip over his mouth had remaind so that he couldn't scream or anything to attract the gaurds.

"Hey!." he got his mouth free "Hey you're..." he stared at her "Ok i wouldn't call them, it's just that i don't have anything to do so, i was going to call them to scape from them too, as you can see, im bored" he turned around, and grabbed a rock and launched to a boy, it knocked him off "Well, let's run"

"Mother! I'm home!" Jaenelle called as she entered the small home at the very edge of the great city. It was little more then a shack, but then, it was only there to cover the real entrance, the large, cave-like opening that lead to their truly cavernous den. The main room was dominated by the enormous, crimson form of her Mother, Malystrx. "Sorry I'm late. Yes, I'll go hunt as soon as I check your wounds," Jaenelle replied to her mother telepathic statements as she flew up to check the great slashes across her mother's flanks. They were still healing so slowly. It worried Jaenelle greatly, though she put on a confident face for her mother. What's going on? What could that Vriisreol have done to her when he attacked her...? Jaenelle thought with some worry. "Oh! It's nothing! I'll go hunting for you now!" Jaenelle replied as she took off and flew out of the entrance. "I'll be back!" With that, she flew out into the forest. It would take a lot of meat to help her mother recover.

Tear was shocked at teh boys remark and how he was now dragging her along instead of her dragging him. She quickly collected herself though. She pulled her arm away from him and jumped over his head grabbing onto the ledge of a building. "If your looking for trouble leave me out of it. I've already stuck my neck out there enough for one night." She exclaimed. She swung her feet up and flipped onto the rooftop before she was seen leaving the boy to deal with things.

"And you're letting me in here?! you little!" he jumped out of the scene "I'll find you" he ran to where he saw the girl scape "Come come, little monkey girl, i just want some fun!"

Tear heard the boys calls far behind her. She wasn't worried though. No one can catch her and if need be she still had her daggers with her if the need to fight or deffend herself came. She leaped over some more rooftops until she felt she was a good distance away from the boy. She found herself perched ontop of the edge of the kingdoms castle wall. Though most would think of it as foolish she knew it would be the one place they wouldn't go looking for her. She sat there perched observing the area for a few minutes to be sure she was not followed.
