over the old wallpaper

My wallpaper/ walls is made out of horse hair, should i paint over the old wallpaper? Its an old house, my grandmas, were trying to sell it but it still has the old original wallpaper, my dad doesnt want to take it down cause he said its to much work and were out of money to try and fix the house. So should i paint over the old wallpaper? or should i try and take it down, but if i do what will happen? we dont have the money to destroy the wall by trying to take it down.

But yeah, uhhh... I didn't even know you could make wallpaper out of horse hair. It'd probably be better to ask this question to people who know more about home improvement, what to do when selling a house, etc. Like, someone in real estate or something, I'd guess.

I dont even think they would know what to do with a wall made of horse hair.
