Reasons for choosing your forum avatar
Why did you choose your forum avatar? I choose mine because I'm a Beyblade fan, and my last one was from character on Runescape. My future forum avatars will be from the new .hack anime, or Captain Falcon.

Re: Reasons for choosing your forum avatar
I've had this Avi for soooooooo long now (pretty much sense I joined back in 06) that I don't even remember why. I guess because I liked Allen from D.gray-man and thought this avi looked kool.

Re: Reasons for choosing your forum avatar
All the avatars i've used are related to the latest signature i make and use for the forums. The same goes with this avatar, in which instead of just finding a picture that fits with my current sig, i made both my sig and avy at the same time. Sooo....Why i choose to use my current forum avatar? Because i made it XD lol
And for a more specific answer, i choose Cecil as my current avatar picture because he's my favorite Dissidia character, and actually, my favorite character AMONG my favorite characters on gaming, at least in the most recent multiplayer games i've played. Paladin Cecil is just so great :D

Re: Reasons for choosing your forum avatar
Well, I chose mine cuz I had just finished Devil Survivor's chaos ending and it was the best of the endings, so yeah, that's why.
My previous avi was Sckhar, the red dragon king from the same place where I got my username, btw.

I use this avie any realistic chance I get, and once I have it, I don't ever switch.
What kind of fool would?

You and I need to get fighting on Xlink Kai.TheSorrow wrote:And for a more specific answer, i choose Cecil as my current avatar picture because he's my favorite Dissidia character, and actually, my favorite character AMONG my favorite characters on gaming, at least in the most recent multiplayer games i've played. I choose my Avatars based on my mood. At first I was young and had some guy made of flame. Then came the Old bum and the apple because I felt I had nothing left but the "fruit" of my past. And now its the shadowed fisherman because I'm ready for a new catch, but still a little reserved about it.
Re: Reasons for choosing your forum avatar
I simply chose travis touchdown because I've played no more heroes and I think its pretty badass, plus we share the same first name, I originally wanted to choose something related to either .hack or anime but I guess picture of an otaku would do.

Re: Reasons for choosing your forum avatar
Wait a few days until i get my 16GB Memory Stick, and help me with a tutorial or a quick-yet-detailed explanation of how to use that Xlink thingy, and it would be my honor to fight.Erranty wrote:You and I need to get fighting on Xlink Kai.
I've been looking for that Xlink thingy for a while (well...just for a day after i got my own PSP), and in the page it basicly sounds like a Hamachi-like program, which you just install, follow 2-3 steps no harder than connecting your PS3 to teh internetz, and you're all set to play with anyone in any Xlink's Network, as long as you connect to them through the program. However, once i was about to attempt it, i read a more specific tutorial which went all "OMG YOU NEED TO GET A SPECIFIC ROUTER AND ONLY THAT ONE AND THEN YOU GOTTA DOWNLOAD THIS AND BE VERY CARERFUL ELSE YOU'LL BLOW UP YOUR HOUSE" X_X And then i looked for another, and it contained alot of configuration that needed to be done, but didn't specify any router...though it was still alot of technical stuff. And then i didn't do any of them as i didn't know what i REALLY had to do if all i want is to play Dissidia with someone in a different country >_>;
So if you have the Xlink yourself, it would be great to know just what you had to do to install it and use it properly and all. I suppose i can actually follow any tutorial or steps, even those that specify that i need a certain router (i'd just have to buy it somehow >3>)...I just want to know WHAT i have to do out of all those crazy tutorials D8 Also, i hope there's no problem because i have a CFW D: (Which is why i need to wait for the Memory Stick to play Dissidia...no UMDs. lol)

Re: Reasons for choosing your forum avatar
I change my forum avatar often. My current one is meant to be a subtle shout-out to Sonic the Hedgehog 4, which is supposed to come out sometime this year. I couldn't be more excited about that.

Re: Reasons for choosing your forum avatar
I played through the battle network series a while back, and I really liked the design of the secret area undernet-navis in battle network 3, so I modified one of the sprites and used it as my avatar. because navis also blink in-game, I made my avi blink as a way of replicating that.

I actually made a very simple Windows XP tutorial with pictures and everything. I can send you a copy via email, and the pics link to my photobucket so you know they're appropriate.TheSorrow wrote:Erranty wrote:So if you have the Xlink yourself, it would be great to know just what you had to do to install it and use it properly and all. I still have to setup my Dissidia stuff though, it takes another separate configuration to get it to work because it has to auto-swap to the other PSP coming through the connection, instead of your wireless adapter.
One thing is, the USB adapter they commonly use doesn't work with Windows 7 because they took out WAY too many hardware customizing options and the driver won't have a UI in Vista and 7. And all the Windows 7 tutorials are WAY too complicated for me.
So make sure you're on a computer that can run it easier.

Wow, i'd REALLY appreciate it if you could send that tutorial to solidus_sorrow@hotmail.com :D And i use Windows XP on my computer most of the time, so it's perfect 8DErranty wrote:I actually made a very simple Windows XP tutorial with pictures and everything. But...USB Adapter, you say? Does that mean i'll actually have to buy stuff, like a wireless adapter or something? Well, i'll suppose i'll understand more about it once i read the tutorial...but as long as i can easily get anything that's required (and not so expensive...i have almost enough to buy Bayonetta now TT^TT), and whatever i do won't take down my whole internet connection at home with no salvation, there'll be no problem XD lol
Anyways, we're getting off-topic here, so we should move this conversation to PMs c:

Ovan: Funny picture of a shocked/angry looking Ova. No idea what was being said though.
Lumine: Was on an MMX binge at the time, happen to like the villain though they are dry and uninspired.
Char/Quattro: He's sexy in Zeta. ~<3

Re: Reasons for choosing your forum avatar
My avatar is (you guessed it) an in-joke. Involving a glitch in .hack//G.U. where characters get stuck walking in place.
It's really lame, so maybe I'll change it to cornwind evilman later.

Re: Reasons for choosing your forum avatar
I originally wanted the fury, but I couldnt find a small enough picture, so I got my favorite lucky star character instead: patricia martin!

Re: Reasons for choosing your forum avatar
Hmmm... My avis change depending on my theme. My current avatar is Dark Sakura from Fate Stay night. As for why...I happen to like that character. Not as much as Caster, but she's up there.
Re: Reasons for choosing your forum avatar
I chose it because it matched my signature.
Re: Reasons for choosing your forum avatar
I chose mine simply because I like the character Mia. I'll probably switch it around to my other favorites eventually though.
