question's for fallout 3 fan's.

Post by moon queen »

Hi I recently bought fallout 3 for PS3 but I'm having trouble with certain things:
1. where can I learn to use powered armor?
2. How can I join the brotherhood of steel?
3. Where can I obtain tesla armor?
please reply, thank you for your time.

You actually learn how to use power armor after dealing with the brotherhood of steel. Which is about 60% of the way through the game's story, but you can stop progressing right after you get the ability to wear it if you want.

Tesla armor is used by the union soldiers that follow the president. It's good, but you should really download the Operation Anchorage expansion because at the end of that you get THE BEST power armor you'll ever find.

Alright, just remember to wait until you can wear Power Armor before you try Operation Anchorage.

To get the ability to wear Power Armor you must go to "The Citadel" and have Elder Lyons train you.

I'll PM you a link to an interactive Fallout 3 map that has most of the stuff you need listed and plenty of options.

If you play through the main quest line you'll do all of those things.

Do Operation Anchorage first. You'll get the perk to equip power armor once you complete it and some really cool goodies. It's faster than going through the normal quest if you really want it asap.

I just finished operation anchorage today and well... now I'm just wondering how to join the Brotherhood of steel, and how to get to raven rock.
Oh and where do I find fawkes the super mutant?
and what is the enclave?

Find your father in the main questline. You'll find Fawkes and Raven Rock if you continue the main quest.

Uh yeah I've been encountering black armored soldiers and I'm pretty sure they're not the brotherhood of steel, they seem to be armed with laser rifles, plasma weapon's and sometimes even a laser gatling gun, even if I dont attack them they still shoot me, who are they?

You've got the Enclave, which wears Tesla armor. The Brotherhood which wears Brotherhood armor. And you have the other group (who's name I forget and isn't as well organized) that wears armor with Red markings.

Plasma weapons are the staple of the Enclave, green glowing stuff makes bad guys look cool.

The Enclave soldiers are The President's men, sent out to suppress the other factions, rebel groups, and basically anyone who opposes their ideology (which is everyone that's not enclave). No you can't join them. They still have the strongest armor though.

is it stronger than the winterized T-51 power armor? and also where can I find plasma rifles in an easier location?

Winterized T-51 power armor is the 2nd highest DR next to Enclave Hellfire Armor and the T-51b Power Armor.

Everything you need to know about fallout 3: the quests, npcs, items, weapons, and perks!
Almost all plasma rifles are found on Enclave soldiers.

I also noticed that the winterized T-51 power armor doesnt need to be repaired, and why do I keep getting attacked by guys wearing black combat armor VATS refer to them as "talon company", who are they.

If you're hunted by Talon Company, then your karma is good or very good.
Good Karma = Hunted by Talon Company
Evil Karma = Hunted by Regulators
Even if you don't have good karma. Talon Company will always be hostile to the player. They are just mercenaries.

okay does anyone here know how to deal with feral ghouls? I keep running into those zombified freaks each time I go somewhere dark(I was traumatized with undead enemies because of my left 4 dead 2 experience when I got killed by a group of wandering witches in the sugar mill) and there's a weird feral ghoul that's throwing radioactive gunk at me.

You should avoid that area for a bit. I couldn't really get through areas with the glow throwers till I was level 15.

I'm already level 25 and theyre still giving me a headache, and does anyone here have point lookout because the place is just screaming "left 4 dead 2 again!" at me and I find it very creepy. :?

Point lookout is just a bunch of mutant hillbillies and a Scarface ghoul that becomes your friend. Its filled with overpowered guns and minor quests.
