D. Grey Man is an excellent series so far.
I'm a bit puzzled by some of the descriptions I've read, though. It looks as though the anime is left at a cliffhanger (that the Earl isn't ultimately defeated), is this so? Are they still producing episodes?

Ah, thanks for the info. I'll take it there then.

Yeah, heard the anime didn't last long and ended Inuyashy. I really loved the manga up until about the end of the Ark arc. After that it kind of become hit and miss for me and I just not really care too much anymore. I'll read it if I'm bored. The zombie joke chapter was good, the lvl 4 akuma/invasion of the base was good, the chapters dealing with Allen's other self and General Cross were good. A chapter or two of Thief G and every other chapter of the current Kanda arc are pretty good, but it hasn't been solid for me since the Ark.

I hope everyone gets rare items in their stockings!

Just finished the last episode and I have to say it wasn't a waste of time. I wish that they'd have continued the series, but I respect whatever reasoning they have for not making another season or two.
Tyki is officially my favorite antagonist. He had all sorts of style and pizazz.
General Cross had to be my favorite of the exorcists. Not so much for the way he treated Allen/nearly every other person, but for the way he carried himself in combat. He was fairly humorous when it came to the ladies though. Like the scene on the ark with Lenalee when Allen, Kanda, and Lavi ran into the room and started freaking out. "Master, this isn't legal!"
Does the manga have more content then the anime (like, does Allen actually defeat the Earl)? No doubt, it'd be an epic battle. I'm wondering if Allen ever upgrades the Crown Clown, maybe he just gets ridiculously proficient/strong with it.

I'm not sure how far the anime goes, but he does upgrade the crown clown at least a couple of times since he unlocks it. He hasn't defeated the Earl, most likely that will be the final boss. Hes gotten a lot stronger, a lot of new Noahs have started getting screen time. New exorcists, both character wise and class type. So yes, like most manga, it has more substance than the anime.

Guess I'll have to make time for the manga then. I checked out some more content on the wiki and I'm a bit intrigued by some of it. The Third Exorcists sounded pretty wicked.

Oh godz read the manga! It is so much better than the anime! It also explains a whole lot more of the story.
