I was watching it. Daigo owned EG Ricky Ortiz, but the last round right before the last set. The Ustream died at 29,514 viewers. So many people we're pissed I saw it on Youtube. There's a second Evo in September at Japan. It seems Ustream can't handle anymore than 30k viewers at any one time. The stream died earlier before too due to that many viewers. Adam Sessler and Seth Killian was commentating. Sessler has no idea how sets work and kept holding score on rounds. I appreciate that they're there since G4 was there, but he sucks really bad. Seth was good. Adam, don't quit your day job.

Sadly, it seems Daigo TE stick got stolen. One source states that it's the gold one which is incorrect. The post from Otaku chic has it at June 11, at 6:04 AM. Capcom Unity twitter has it at July 10, 4:07 pm. On July 10th, by 3pm, semi-finals of SSFIV started. It must have gotten stolen by the douche thief there. Evo didn't start until 10 AM on July 11 and the SSFIV grand finals was at 9pm that night. It was Daigo's old stick. Capcom Unity describe the thief as "weaksauce" and if he did want Daigo's stick. He should play for it, not STEAL it.

Yeah I was sort of pissed too because everyone was confusing me, because in the chat people were typing in: Ricky won!, Daigo Umehara lost :O, Daigo owns again, Ricky won!, Ricky won! USA RULEZ!

So yeah haha. Hopefully I'll be able to register for next years EVO though, of course I'll be registering for Tatsunoko vs Capcom, Tekken, and possibly Marvel vs Capcom 3 if they have it. PS: Do you have a link to the final match? I can't find it

Maybe they were trolling you, saying Ricky won, when they know he lost? The crowd really wanted him to win, but got silent when Daigo would win sets.
They WILL definitely have Marvel vs Capcom 3. It's been over a decade for that sequel. People are hungry for it.
I thought I would have no interest in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, but watching players fighting out of their pools. Just wished it was on the HD consoles, but we're getting the better game anyway.
