For those who don't know, Ad hoc Party is a service that provides a person with a PSP to connect and play against others online via their PS3. It was first released in Japan last year. This eliminates the distance issue, where if you wanted to play against someone online on a PSP, they don't have to be within such a close proximity of you to start an online session. So far, a release date hasn't surfaced yet, but Sony is promising a release very soon. Discuss.
It doesn't really concern non americans, such as myself... however it does look pretty interesting. Will it kill the lag that most players experience during online play?
Or demos. Or trailers. Or more freely-given beta codes. Really, they should make another version of this commercial but about getting a Japanese account.
I hope ad hoc party can be for things like a computer possible. Using a PSP with my computer's broadband, or Wifi if at my dads would be nice. I would like to fight in games like Tekken DR, and Tekken 6.
