Dual gunz help.
Yo, gangsta grunty needs yo opinion and help at the same time. I'm trying to find out which dual gun is the best overall in Redemption. I'll put up a poll for it.

Re: Dual gunz help.
The best overall is DG-Y. It reduces the time needed for the skill bar to fill up, and along with Super Charge, it pretty much reduces the needed time to less than 1 second. And with that, you can freely spam up items and skills all over, and with the Double Trigger, completely lock down any enemy by constantly using the Skill Trigger and any skill you wish, along with all other things you can do by having no waiting time for skills and items.
DG-Z is the strongest and has a deadly ability that comes into work every 3-4 reloads, but only that. It's pretty sad that by the time you get it you've finished the whole game and gained the best items in the game, so there's nothing you can really do with it. Just shoot enemies.

That's why you buy a codebreaker and get the gun a liiiiiittle bit earlier...
Or do like I did and make god-weapons...

Re: Dual gunz help.
You still need to be at lv150 to use it, a level where everything else stops mattering and you can just go ahead and kill everything even with Broad Leggeds D: ...Though you could still use codes to equip it, but in such case, it's alot better to just equip other stuff. That's why you buy a codebreaker and get the gun a liiiiiittle bit earlier...
And i would buy a codebreaker if i could, but no online buying for me and the only cheat device i've ever seen around my place is an Action Replay for a GBA D8'

Re: Dual gunz help.
Looks like you forgot the poll. XD Anyways, here's my summaries on the four dual-guns.
DG-X, to me, is the best overall choice in the game, since it does more damage than DG-Y, *Fully modded with Cheat codes that is*, and not as cheap as DG-Z, which kills enemies ridiculously fast, thanks to Death Bullet.
DG-Y only serves this purpose: All-out, malicious beatings. Because of the Godspeed bullet attatchment, the skill trigger reloads incredibly fast, which I measured at about three quarters of a second. TheSorrow already sumed it up, but you get it.
DG-Z just sucks, not because it's weak, but it sucks BECAUSE of it's strength. On a critical hit, an enemy's HP gets reduced by 95%, which shouldn't be too hard to achieve since six times out of ten, you're bound to get a critical. So if your style suits killing off enemies quickly, this is the weapon for you.
DG-O is the Doppelganger version of the original DG-X. The only difference is, besides it's color, the attachment, avenging bullet raises the attack power of the guns the lower your HP is, which is pretty useless since your basically untouchable in Xth Form.

Re: Dual gunz help.
Well, actually, if you're one that wants to kill enemies ridiculously fast, even Doppelganger, use DG-0 instead of DG-Z and manage to get your HP to the lowest possible, equip Other Self, and go ahead shooting enemies with bullets that do around 150-200 damage per shot. Though the time you're going to spend getting your HP low would be the same or more than if you just went right ahead with the DG-Z, so there's no real difference in speed XD
Re: Dual gunz help.
Is it DG-O or DG-0? I always thought it was a zero...
I myself prefer the one with green blades, I forget which it is... Also something to note is that dual guns do more damage and have a higher critical rate the closer you are... with some guns if you're all the way across the area and shooting you'll only do 1 damage... but up close you'll do around 190 or so...

Every Dual Gun has that effect when you're shooting at far distances. DG-Z has the green blades.Satoh wrote:Is it DG-O or DG-0? I always thought it was a zero...

I think it's O since the other guns have letters in them, but whatever.
Re: Dual gunz help.
I think it's 0 for two reasons...
1. X Y and Z all recur in order, and thus, the next logical character is the beginning of the number set, 0.
2. Heine's Zero was the doppel weapon, (DG-0 is the Doppel gun right?) so 0 would be fitting with the theme...
O just seems out of place with the other letters to me... and DG Zero sounds cooler to me...
I myself AM all about speed, so DG-Z is my weapon of choice.

I think it's DG-0 for one reason:
1. That's what the game says it's called.
Yeah, it's just called DG-0 and makes alot more sense like Satoh pointed out, and DG-O is just a common mispell. If it were to have a letter instead, it would be DG-D (Doppelganger), DG-H (Heine's), or DG-S (Shadow)...O would be just a random odd letter indeed :/
