Dissidia: Final Fantasy U.S.

Post by _Tri-edge_ »

Alright, U.S./E.U FF fans, Dissidia:FF's heading towards the other side of the world in the summer. Here's the U.S. site, still incomplete, but good enough. For those who've played the japanese version, it's nothing new, so you know who's gonna debut in the game. This game is extremely well done, with graphics, controls, gameplay, and story all in the superb region. Still waiting on who's gonna voice my favorite character Zidane, but hopefully they won't screw that up, otherwise put in an option to switch from english to japanese audio. Anyways, ready, set, discuss.

I'm just fine with getting the game. I already know the minute I get on ad-hoc it's gonna be full of clouds.

Good. I hate Cloud, so it will be oh so sweet killing him over and over again in ad-hoc.

I'm thinking I'll get it just to play as Sephiroth and Leon.

You played Kingdoms Hearts before FF8 didn't you? (Not that I blame you if you did...) But his name is SQUALL. I am sick of hearing Leon. SQUALL LEONHEART, QUEEN OF APATHY FOR AT LEAST TWO DISCS (I miss disc swapping for some reason... not too common anymore.)

Either way I'd likely have few preferences aside from Jecht.

Squall was his slave name! You sayin yo name is TOBY!? BOY!!! But yes, I do think Squall sounds cooler because a Squall is the edge of a storm... I just get corrected a lot by my friends.

This game looks awesome! But....I still have to wonder; WHY THE $($*%$ would you put Garland as anyhting serious!?!!? I mean yeah he has only the best line ever "I Garland will knock you all down!" but at the same time when he's not chaos. I thought he kinda sucked. Then theres cloud of Darkness. If square is as graphic with her as they are in the pic on the web I'll probablly have trouble buying this game. If my parents saw her I'd get in sooooo much trouble! But yeah I agree beating the living crap out of that nancy haired emo moron with a buster sword will be FUN. I also can't wait to pwn squal repeatedly. The only thing that would make this game even more epic would be if you could do a match with Kefka vs. Sephiroth. Overated I know but....it has to be done! With the rivalry between the two ya know....

GRRRR!!!! That's just great! Now I get to miss out on what could be one of the best games of all time. All because square had to lobby to it's older male audience. Well hopefully it'll get a T for teen and maybe they'll cover her up in the american version. I really hope so. Because I've been waiting to play this game for a loooonnggg time. Or maybe there'll be a thing where you can change the costume to something less revealing. Man this really stinks. :( :(

Yeah, it's getting a T rating, but it's probably going to say, for Language, Fantasy Violence, Sexual themes, nudity.
Besides, as long as you avoid playing as her, you should be fine. You can't really see your opponets that clearly since you'll be battling at intense speeds. They have the option of alternate forms, but the only thing that might change is the color.

hmm. Well after looking through the website. I do think this is going to be one interesting game! Will it live up to the hype? Or will it be a let down? I think it's gonna be awesome! Only time will tell I guess

Games pretty fun, to be honest. Simply controlls, but still makes for an awesome fight.

Kinda late there aren't we.

Bundles not even worth it. Comes with a PSP-3000. Ill just buy the game, a 2000 and FF:AC UMD if I want a proper bundle. But what will I do with my imported version......?

I doubt the VA's would. Square actually cares about voice quality....... Star Ocean doesn't count.

I have played the game seeing as i had the JP version. It's really fun especially after you get every to max level and randomly pair up fights. The story is pretty goo IMHO. But the summoning leaves something to be desired
I divided by zero! ^-^
