 why would they make him/her a girl!!! i mean i love the story line and all but why i thought he/she was a guy because didnt they say i mean didnt he/she say he was a guy!!!

Thought it was a girl... Also thought it wasn't thát important.

The ending was way to obvious. I knew it before I saw the ending.

 Tsukasa wakes from her coma. She's the one who walks out the hospital. Her voice in her head is of a guy but her real voice is a girl.

If Tsukasa wasn't a  girl I wouldn't have taken the name.

Yeah but Tsukasa didn't know. I mean how would  shewith Morgana at control. Like anyone would  shesimply thought  shewas a  boybecause in the game  she looked like one. Wouldn't you?

Thats a good point. I still think it was an awesome ending though, and I still use Tsukasa for my avatars and signatures, even if  Tsukasa was actually a girl.

As for the love story thing, well, that's life . Not everything works out how you want it to. I like this fact in .Hack//SIGN...it seemed more real to me that   Tsukasa turned out to be a girl, and Tsukasa and Subaru could only be intimate friends, rather than lovers. (though, I guess this could be argued, but we're assuming Subaru and Tsukasa are straight)

Plus, just go to any site where there are female and male avatars to choose from (ie: gaiaonline, RO, Maple Story). A lot of normal people choose to have  at least one avatar that is an opposite gender from themselves. For RP, looks, or otherwise [/spoiler]

Lol...It was funny when Mimiru and Bear confronted him and they were like "Are you a girl" and Tsukasa was liek "Are you kidding" LOL twas funny.

I really doubt it.  Their relationship changed a lot after they found out he was really a girl. They became more friendly than intimate.

I think they leave it open to interpretation so that the viewer can make their own decision on that topic...

ummm...so what your saying...is that it IS left open for interpretation but....only one interpretation is right? that doesn't make sense at all....when something is left open for interpretation anyone can interpret it anyway they like....that's the point of being left open to interpretation.

No, one interpretation would have to be right and the other wrong. It'd be like me saying "The heavens are infinite." You don't know what I mean, it's open to interpretation. It could mean sky, it could mean space, or it could be a heavenly paradise. There's interpretation. But when I say it, I mean space. And if the meaning of the word "heaven," in that sentence, is space, than it would mean that everyone who interpretted "heaven" as meaning sky or paradise is wrong. Get what I mean? Just because it's open to interpretation, doesn't necessarily mean all interpretations are correct.

yes but you see that wasn't truly left open to interpretation in the first place...because you already had something in mind....that's just not being specific or not using the right word for something.....not knowing what you mean by the word "heavens" is simply not knowing what you mean.....interpretation would be say if in a movie someone had a gun pointed to their head and then in the next scene it zooms out to the building your in and you hear a gunshot, now they have avoided showing you him actually getting shot and it becomes unclear if he ACTUALLY got shot or not, and it is left up to the viewer to decide for themselves....THAT would be something left up to interpretation....or in this case it's more along the lines of :  Tsukasa and Subaru's relationship is not in the end all that "defined" it doesn't say they got together...but then again it doesn't NOT say this either....besides if you don't like the idea of them getting togther....don't think they did, it's as simple as that....I personannly beleive they did and I'm sticking too that.
