Digimon Tamers was easily the best series of them all.
As for DVDs, good luck. I don't think any complete seasons were ever produced.

i no. i've checked everywhere but i think season 1 was the only one with dvds out. and it was only 13 episodes. i just wish saban decides to release all the seasons on dvds eventually so i can relive my childhood.

Truer words have never been spoken, though Digimon Savers was HELLA' Close.Digimon Tamers was easily the best series of them all.
Nothing rocks more than a teenage kick punching a Mega level digimon in the face hard enough to knock it's nigga' ass over.
(and yea, it was a black digimon lol)

Agreed- It just had the right feel to it, y'know?milliennium_fox wrote:Digimon Tamers was easily the best series of them all.

Digimon Tamers also has a few DVDs out that you can find on amazon, but unfortunetly there are no plans whatsoever as of right now to release boxsets of the seasons (in Japan they already released Digimon Adventure as a box set for like the 6th time). Man, I'd love a Tamers box set right about now. . .

F*ck Frontier. Frontier was the worst thing to ever bear the franchise name.
I'd rather swallow SARS-laced needles than watch Frontier again.

I hate it when all my friends say "Oh Frontier was so good, blah blah blah, it was the best, oh, it's all Tamer's fault Frontier got cut short a few episodes!" Screw that! Tamers was just flat out better! It was lame that the kids turned into the digimon (the transformation sequences were cool, but that was about it)! And they put way too much emphasis on Takuya and Kouji's evolutions and all the other destined kids got jipped big time!

I missed some of the episodes here and there, but it was always the ones where someone lost one of their spirits. . . again. =_='' Actually, there's one episode of Adventure that I ALWAYS missed, for some reason they always skipped over it. it was the one where Izzy was taught about Virus, Vaccine and Data type digimon.TheEnigma wrote:trust me...frontier isn't my favorite. i thought it was good. i liked every season, i just want frontier on dvd because i missed half of it. adventure 01 is still the best in my opinion.Art_Master_Gio wrote:THANK YOU!AuraTwilight wrote:F*ck Frontier. Re: Anyone miss digimon?
Frontier was an interesting experiment. It eliminated partners entirely and focused solely on the Digital World without ever venturing to the real world. It had it's good points though. I enjoyed how they actually FOUGHT Lucemon rather than pulling some "miracle" like in Adventure 01 and 02. It also incorporated much more background Digimon mythology (the Angels and such) into itself.

Re: Anyone miss digimon?
I have to agree, Frontier was worth watching, even if it did end up being a pile of ****. I remember being so excited to see it despite my caution. All my worries were of course spot on, but it got me to check it out, so it did it's job.
It's just that I would reccomend having Pepto-Bismol on hand while watching and never rewatching.
Lucemon was the most awesome villain ever btw, next to D-Reaper, Myotismon, and Yggdrasill. In that order.

Re: Anyone miss digimon?
to me, the english opening was the best digimon opening. the first 3 seasons had the same ones just a little remixed, and frontier was just plain awesome in my opinion.

The english opening for savers made my ears bleed TT___TT The first opening of the original was one of my favorites, despite the fact Kouji Wada didn't sing it. Butter-fly and Biggest Dreamer are definitely two of my all-time favorite anime openings.TheEnigma wrote:to me, the english opening was the best digimon opening. the first 3 seasons had the same ones just a little remixed, and frontier was just plain awesome in my opinion.

No worries, it was, for the most part, pretty obvious that you were talking about Frontier.TheEnigma wrote:sorry. i meant to say frontier's english opening was my favorite opening. didn't specify that in my last post.

What about the second opening, where he was present? I definately like it.Art_Master_Gio wrote:The first opening of the original was one of my favorites, despite the fact Kouji Wada didn't sing it.
Oh, and "Biggest Dreamer" is one of my favorites.

Re: Anyone miss digimon?
I didn't like it as much as all of the other ones. I mean, it's not my least favorite, I just like the the Adventure and Tamers openings better. Target, the 02 opening, was so-so, and at first i didn't like FIRE!!, but after listening to it all the way through I finally started enjoying it.milliennium_fox wrote:What about the second opening, where he was present? I think opening wise (the ones sung by Kouji Wada), for me, it'd have to go Adventure, Tamers, Frontier, Savers then 02.
