So today, I went to buy Redemption, got it for about $40.00 and everything.

I got home, parked my car, walked up the stairs to my stairs, plugged in my PS2 since I hadn't used it in a while. Last time I remember playing it was in mid-July when I replayed through DMC3... for like the millionth time. >_>

Anyway, so I turned it on, got a message, didn't read it and hit Yes, watched the opening and was very happy for the first time in a while. I got to the a new opening screen, but regardlessly familiar. So I press New Game, it ask me do I wish to convert my data from Reminisce. I of course said yes. It asked me to choose what memory card to convert from. I selected slot one.

Memory card not found, is what it said.

Which was preposterous, I thought to myself, as I looked down and saw the regular black memory card in the usually slot. I tried again. Nothing. I turned it off and cleared the memory card out of dust, turned it back on. Still no memory card.

So I tried DMC3.

No memory card found.

So I tried SC3.

No memory card found.

So I went to the white screen for the PS2 where you select your game and all that.

There wasn't a slot for my memory card.

I got mad.

Really mad.

It wasn't even corrupted, just broken. Like a twig I suppose.

Yeah... I have to buy a new memory card.

So now I have to do everything that was on that memory card over, which will probably be impossible to taking a long ass time for DMC3, since I had S rank for all modes except DMD and SS for all modes up to Hard.

But as for .hack G.U., I have to play Rebirth and Reminisce... again... get everything and max everything out... again... before I will let myself play Redemption.

God, that sucks. ;~; I'm so sorry </3 Don't cry.
I know how that feels, I had to play Reminiscence all over again due to a power outage, I cried. @_@ It really sucks but hopefully the second time around you'll do 20x better.

I play at a rather slow rate for RPGs, and I've never been good at power playing them. It'll take me at least a week or two to redo Rebirth and Redemption.

I hope Redemption is worth it. It better be.

I stopped crying... I'm still really pissed though.

I don't even know how it happened, I hadn't even touched it since I last played it.

Edit: Yeah, that happened to my old card, just stopped working and I still have no idea what was on it.

The same happened to me. Now I have to push in the memory card a lot. Like push it in and hold it while it's loading. Try that maybe.

I tried and it failed.

Nothing seems to work, I've tried alot, I didn't just give up on this.

Same thing happened to me. So, I checked out my memory card. I unscrewed the little screws and looked inside and low and behold the little green thing with data was scooted back. So I scooted it foreward and BEHOLD! It worked and finally recognised that I had a memory card....

Well if you don't want to play it all over again... Just copy your friend's save file... But well it's kinda embarassing you know...

Well i call it last resort... Can you imagine how long it would take to play vol 1 and 2 to 100%? I think it's better to copy the save file, play vol 3, finish it and play it all the way again from vol 1... So you can at least know the storyline of vol 3...

Well i call it last resort... Can you imagine how long it would take to play vol 1 and 2 to 100%? I think it's better to copy the save file, play vol 3, finish it and play it all the way again from vol 1... So you can at least know the storyline of vol 3...

My memory card is on the verge of breaking down. It tell's me it's not inserted at times...I just wiggle it around and it loads the game data. I suppose I should buy a new one this saturday along with Redemption D:
