La Pucelle Tactics

Post by DotHack-Haseo »

I have not had more fun with a tactics game than this one. The VA Cast did a spectacular job on the VAing, and the battle system, as well as the story in my opinion is rather unique.

Here's a trailer:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=W8M1Ql8BsQk

I just picked it up, and I can't get enough..over 120 hours of gameplay, and what you do in the game has different outcomes for each of the chapters...there is a bad, normal, and good ending to each chapter.....depending on how you do in the chapter, determines what ending you get.

Check it out...you might like it.

I enjoyed this game throughly.
Of course, I enjoy all NIS games. LOL!

Also, there are also "special" endings for....2 chapters I believe.

All and all, the game is spectacular.
I love Priere! (Even more so in Disgaea!)

Hmmm

Post by DotHack-Haseo »

you just made it sound like Priere is in Disgaea. She's not, but, you are right. I have fallen for La Pucelle at the moment. It has been a long time since I have had this much fun with a game.

Although...I do think that Priere has a fondness for nuts.......seeing as how she likes to kick guys there a lot.

Actually, Priere is in Disgaea.
She's an unlockable character.

Wow...

Post by DotHack-Haseo »

So where would I go about unlocking her then?

But back on topic...I though that thjis game is one of the better Tactics games I have played in a while.......

Also, Darrcyphfeid....Don't you mean Phantom Blade.....if not, could you provide a trailer? I have seen a game in stores called, Phantom Blade...with some dude holding a Sword over his shoulder on the Box Cover...I didn't think it was Laharl though....although..it does look a little like him.

Actaully, it is called Phantom Brave. The guy on the box is Ash.
Laharl is in it though. (Unlockable)
So where would I go about unlocking her then?
In Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, pass the Bill called "Alterante Netherworld".
Priere is in the last map of the stage.
Defeat her, and she's all yours.
She's on Level 1500 though! (During and after the fight)

In Disgaea 2: You can fight her, but not obtain her.

Does she have all her same specials from La Pucelle?

If so...I can't wait to use Divine Storm.

So many kicks to the nuts...so little time.

Does she have all her same specials from La Pucelle?
The only skills she has are called "Dragon Rage" and "Requiem"
She also comes with Omega Heal.
She's a monster type.

I used her to unlock Marjoly. (A character from Rhapsody)

I noticed the similarity to Disgaea when I started playing La Pucelle.....althoug....I think La Pucelle is better than Disgaea anyway.

I'm the opposite.
I like La Pucelle, but I love Disgaea.

Of course, I played Disgaea first, so that could be why.

On-topic:
I love the random names monster's have in La Pucelle.
My cousin and I have burst a gut multiple times over some of them.
Also, I never used Coulotte. (Or however you spell his name)

Here is somebody using Priere in Disgaea 2.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=ol1yU4rqSJw& ... ed&search=

You said you couldn't use her in Disgaea 2 right? I might have to go back and look what yuou said.

But yeah..it says....Demon Overlord/Priere. And you even see what special skill she has.

Hate to tell you this, but that's a cheat.

You did notice that Priere was attacking Priere, right?
I have the official book, and have unlocked everything in Disgaea 2.
You fight her, just like you fight Marjoly, Mid-Boss, Zetta, and even Asagi.
But you don't get her without cheating.

A cheat device is being used. Three giveaways: You can only use 10 units per stage, not 100. You can only have one Makai Wars, she has three equipped. And there are two Prier without a "Clone" Geospace -- can't happen without one.
Thanks for explaning.
I forgot to mention the Geospace clone not being present.

Still, I always wondered if they were going to make a sequel.
I like how Priere's skill mentions a La Pucelle 2.
Even though it seems like nothing more than a joke. LOL!

To true. Poor Asagi! LOL!

As for Marl kingdom, I remember there being about 3 more games dealing with it.
However, the US only got Rhapsody. (Now I'm going to have Evil Queen stuck in my head!)

Yep. Nippon Ichi has made many good games recently. Another good publisher is Atlus. Damn thos SMT games are some of the hardest dungeon crawlers known to man.
