Angst - Memory card problems
My cousin got kicked out of her house for a while for being a brat. My mom said she could come here. She's not even a few months younger than me. She asked to play my ps2, I let her.
The next day, .hack//g.u. Reminisce and quarantine, along with my save data from Tales of the abyss were all wiped off my memory card. I asked her about it, and she said she never touched my memory card. There was vanilla ice cream all over it.
Hours and hard work wasted, and even longer on quarantine. (And you all know how much quarantine can piss you off.) On top of that, the save data I deleted of Soul calibur 3 (upon hearing the glitch it causes, I got rid of the data quickly a few months ago) is back on. My eye was twitching like mad. I don't have the will to keep playing those games anymore.
Just had to get this out of my system, maybe a little sympathy.

The release date of Metal Gear Solid 3; Subsistance, I bought it, played it for 7 hours straight (mostly just messing around), but when I tried to save to my Action Replay MAX memory card (16 mb) it read Save could not complete. I checked my card to see 7 megs of corrupt save blocks. CAT-FREAKIN-TASTROPHY!
Now what would REALLY suck is having your G.U. 3 data (and all previous data) lost right before the end. And since ive been carrying over data since Infection id be so hell pissed.
Hey you should get something uber cool for carrying all the way from infection.

Yeah. I'm mostly pissed off at how hard I was working on organizing and getting everything extra in volume 2. I completed the lucky animal quest, and mecha grunty quest (which I HATED) and there were 2 more chaotic pkers left I needed to find. Everyones weapon levels were at 20 and max affection, etc. It was a near-perfect file =(VergilPrime wrote:The release date of Metal Gear Solid 3; Subsistance, I bought it, played it for 7 hours straight (mostly just messing around), but when I tried to save to my Action Replay MAX memory card (16 mb) it read Save could not complete. guess what? i'm an only child too! doesn't bother me too much cus i have alot of time in my hands...oh and alpha69 that same thing happened to me except..my MC got reformatted...at least it gave me something to do..before i got vol2...good times..good times ^_^Ratsu wrote:your topic made me feel a whole lot happier about being an only child.
Something like this also happened to me...except it was after I was playing and let my little brothers take the PS2 with my memory card to my grandmas house for a few hours. When they came back with the ps2 and the connections, I realized that memory card wasn't their. My grandma's house is on the same property so I didn't freak out at first. But after searching for 3 days, I got pissed off....All my .hack data, some FFs, my Star Ocean data and the Battle trophies....
The following month, they lost the other card that I had to get used to...damn it all!!! Luckily, it gave me a chance to replay Mutation-Rebirth...Long, but worth it...I hope...

If that happened to me I would have been on a rampageKaenKasharion wrote:My cousin got kicked out of her house for a while for being a brat. My mom said she could come here. She's not even a few months younger than me. She asked to play my ps2, I let her.
