Odin Sphere gets my vote, but I haven't touched Ar Tonelico, since I'm tired of Gust's repetitive games. I haven't gotten too far in OS yet, but the main problem I've noticed is some lag in certain parts. Otherwise, the game is amazingly gorgeous. Starting to get used to the gameplay, also. However, it's still pretty difficult, even on normal, which is a good thing.

Well I haven't played Odin Sphere cause it really didn't catch my interest, but I love Ar Tonelico and hope NISA brings Ar Tonelico II over here when it's ready.

Any how, Ar Tonelico is sweet lot's of character development especially with the Revytails you get to dive into their subconsciousness and see different sides of their personality and deepest feelings it's also how you gain magic for them as well as alternate costumes.

The Story isn't too shabby also lots of items/weapons/armor you can create via synthesis sort like how it works in Atelier Iris.

Tough Choice, but I'd go with Ar tonelico, the shear comedy in that game is worth it alone.

Both of them. If you don't have time or the money to buy bought. . . Ar Tonelico is the best choice IMO. . Well that's only because I haven't played Odin Sphere >_>

Ar Tonelico has a concept of Love-sims in it >.<

So there is comedy in Ar tonelico? I thought about getting it but I heard it was very short.

Yeah, same here...I heard it was pretty short, But, it can't be as short as:

Fullmetal Alchemist: Curse of the Crimson Elixir can it? (8 hours)

Definitely not 8 hours short. It can last you 25-45 hours or more if you take your time. 25 hours probably being the fastest your first time through, that's if you fly through everything. Still, it's a pretty fun and funny game. I enjoyed it.

Ar Tonelico is quite long if you're going to complete all the CG and the item :D
But Ar Tonelico is so easy. . The only times i got a hard time was only when I fought the last boss. . .

Took me 65 hours to finish, you got to remember theres a third chapter...Some people think chapter 2 is the end when it's not.

IIRC, you make a choice at the end of the chapter that determines whether the story continues or not, don't you?

Worship Me!

After a week of searching.......I have officially obtained a copy of

Ar Tonelico: Melody of Elemia

And let me tell you it wasn't easy trying to find this game.

I found it, accidently when I visited one of the stores I go to......I was following up a lead...on MGS: VR Missions.....which by the way I picked up also. And let me tell you.....I was so fri**in happy that I found it.....

Now I enjoy it..I just got home with it today.

I also picked up Tomb Raider Legend and Tomb Raider Anniversary

Anniversary is the Remake of the Very first Tomb Raider Game.

I don't know which one of those games to play first.

Help me decide? I'm thinking Ar Tonelico....On the other hand maybe I should play:

Y's: The Ark of Nephistim

Which is also a badas* game.

Well, I found my copy of it for 44.99.

I had no choice to pay that price because, no other sotres in my area had another copy.

And plus...one of the storekeepers told me that Ar Tonelico went the way of Marvel vs, Capcom 2. That it was hard to find because of it's rarity.

But, I don't beleive that it could be that rare already.

I also picked up another kickas* game. Called:

Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim

Here's the link to my topic..with the trailer:

I love the animation style of everything...although...I havent gotten that far in Ar Tonelico yet...because I have been caught up in Tomb Rader Legend.
