Avatar Awakening and Doppleganger question

Can you use Avatar Awakening multiple times in the same fight and get lots of virus cores? If you can, could you just go into a fight with the doppleganger, use avatar awakening, get vc's, wait for him to heal, fill up the moral guage, and do it again? So could you get 99 virus cores in 1 fight with doppleganger?

Yes, though it's not the only boss you can do that on, and you need to worry about your own healing, too. I suppose it might be better for it than other bosses since you can run away, so you don't have to be strong enough to kill it in order to fight it, which probably increases the number of Virus Cores you can get...

No, you can't... Although, if you could do that, it would amazingly tedious for you... Monsters give you virus cores, as well as some PC's (can't if they are the chaotic PKers, or the arena fighters). Monsters work by sizes. Small=1 vc, big= 2VC, bosses (not story-wise) =3 VC per battle.

My good way to get lots of virus cores - Go to a level 150 area. Take a healer and some powerful fighter. Always have the healer in healing mode. The other could be on free-will. Ok, most of these level 150 areas have large size monsters, 2 per battle (means, at least, 4 VC per battler) who have Rip Maen (periodic HP helaing) and Rig Geam (periodic SP healing). Once a battle starts, get your self a bit hurt, so that the healer heals you, making the Tension Gauge go up. Use a weak rapid attacks weapon, so you can deal low damage and contribute to the Rengeki activation. If a monster is with very low HP, don't bother killing it, leave to one of your party members. If one of your party members kills a monster, the Tension Gauge goes up as well. If you want to get more 4 VC's per battler, then, after each awakening, set everyone to healing mode (be sure to remember in which mode they were, in case you change it). The monster will heal (tediously very) slowly, seeing Rip Maen only regenerates 16 HP every once in a while. When ready, repeat the process above, as much as the battle can take.

I hope no one minds me going a bit off topic, but with that awakening can you use any of the three lvls of it when ever you want? Assuming the gauge is full of course, and after you get xth form. And one other small question is can you still use beast, demon, and divine awakenings? I've heard multiple answers to those two, so anyone who KNOWS, it'd be awsome if you could answer. Sorry about the tangent.

Data Drain replaces Divine Awakening (and you dont need to have Xth Form to use it), and you can use it whenever the guage is full (but Data Drain levels up, so you cant choose to use a weaker version of Data Drain)

Not really. Unless someone had statistics, these were my observations:
Lvl Up=Better Cutscene Attack and More Damage.

Virus Cores depend on who you are fighting.

P.S. You can get virus cores from an AIDA-PC.

huh, well that's semi depressing. I know the thing get's better over time, but from what I've seen, it looks pretty sweet in any of the lvls. And I like the divine awakenings too. Last little tangent though, could someone pm me a link to a vid of the broad sword divine awakening? I've been looking but couldn't find one.

Actually, u get 3 cores from area bosses, 2 cores from medium-sized monsters such as the crabs, and 1 core from small-sized monsters such as globins.
