Fantastic Children?
Okay. I ran a search on this and nothing came up, so here goes.
My friend just told me about an anime called Fantastic Children. I looked it up on wikipedia, and it looks pretty interesting. Has anyone seen/heard of this series? If you've seen it, is it any good?

It seems really cool. I just finished the first episode. It jumps settings a lot, but I read somewhere that it would do that. Apparently, it's a big mystery thing and it moves at a slow pace.
The Children of Befort are really cool looking. XD
So far, from what I understand, there are these children who are born again and again, and have been recorded in history thirteen times over the past 500 years. They choose a "host child" and take their place in life, taking on the appearances of the child but with white hair and blue eyes. I don't know why they keep doing this yet, though.
But what's really cool is that, according to this plot, Wilhelm Conrad Rontgen was one of these children. The Befort kid who took his place was named Palza. But instead of accepting their "mission" (again, not sure what it is), Palza chose to assimilate into his life on Earth and become Conrad.
You'll know him as the guy who discovered x-rays.
I just thought it was interesting that they're saying someone historically renowned is one of these kids. It looks like the plot has depth. I can't wait to get on to the next episode.

Watching it.
Not done yet, but I understand what the plot is about so far through ascertaining on my own and reading various synopses.
All I have to say is this:
If you like the mystery and slow pace of .hack//sign, and don't mind the artwork style of Cyborg 009, you'll probably love this series. Plus, Origa sings the ending theme song, and it's totally beautiful.
It's slow in the beginning, but man, it's chock full of mystery after mystery, and all the mysteries eventually run into each other and become one clear truth.

Yeah, that's why I prefer slow anime to fast-paced ones.
The only fast-paced anime I can really enjoy is FLCL because it's a full-blown acid trip through the television screen.
And that's kind of super fast-paced. >_>
