Shenmue Series

Post by Azure Panda »

Did any one ever play those? I loved the series and hated how the second one ended. There was talk about the third one being for the 360 but I never saw any thing about it. Then there was supposed to be this online version of it on the computer but kinda looked cheezy they were using dragonball z techniquies in my point of view. Well I only saw the trailer of the online one.

I've played Shenmue II on Xbox, one of the few games I consider even worth playing on Xbox.

I didn't play from beginning to end though just parts of it here and there, since I would only play it at a friends house cause I don't have Xbox, never did and almost certainly never will.

Well the first one was released for the dreamcast and that system went down the drain. I was one of the few that bought one and no one around me ever bought one. I guessed it was because it was a head of its time. There were a few games worth playing on it and those were the shenmue games and the sonic games.

Still can't believe how the second one ended though. Left you with a cliff hanger and I really doubt they release the third one.

I've only heard that Shenmue III is coming out, I never actually checked for it though since it'd be for a system I don't own or plan on owning.

Well for one, not many games I'm interested in and the ones I am interested in are multi-platform and I'd prefer to get them on PS3(not that I have that yet either but will eventually) as I like and think Sony's controller is a lot better and well the best next to the SNES which it's pretty much the same thing so yea.
