Ashlay is saying that there were only 6, because Yata and Ovan don't count.

Yata seems to be in trouble, which explains how Fidchell comes. Maybe when Fidchell is finished, that's when Haseo is fectme'd.

Ovan and Yata do too count. The Infinity 8 stands for the 8 Epitaph Users, you can't say they don't count when they have Fidhell and Corbenik. It doesn't mean the number of Epitaph Users in the Guild G.U..

How do you figure he's in trouble? Just because he isn't there when they all arive at the Serpant of Lore doesn't mean he doesn't show up at all. If you'll recall when Haseo first entered the room Yata wasn't there, than he came down on his floating thing.

That's not what I'm saying. If Yata is gone and Ovan is the bad guy, then they are not a part of the 8 that were in the Serpent of Lore.

I said "it seems". I never said that that was true. There's really no need to try to disprove what I said it "looked like".

shes just tryign to guess what could happen. Yata and ovan dont count because Yata stays in his room al the time, and ovan is bad, it wuold get confusing if peopel said infinity 8.

It's not like we actually were considering Ovan and Yata as separate, but we were just saying that Yata and Ovan did not count during the scene we're talking about.

If it does mean that Cubia<Alpha> is some sort of incomplete version of Cubia, then that leaves room for another .hack series...

It looks like theres going to be a battle that will go infected Corbenik->Cubia <Alpha> (meteor)->Cubia complete (the four glowing eyes).

If the new Cubia, who is to strong for one epitaph wielder to fight, was the source of the AIDA it would explain how not even Data Drain could cure Ovan and why his AIDA is alot more...solid than the other AIDA, and if this Cubia isn't fully developed yet then that would help explain how he was able to seal it, although, it seems that Ovan's purpose was also to counter TSN, being the only AIDA-PC who they couldn't defeat.

Cubia... hmm... I never thought about that. He's most likely just an A.I., but I guess that's a possibility.

I can't believe you guys can conclude that it is Cubia by examining greatly cut off text.

If you look at the spellign it looks liek it says cubia alpha, i think it says cubia alpha. Were not saying its Cubia, but theres a good chance it is.

That's I was expecting actually. I thought Cubia was gonna show up as an surprise ninth Avatar somebody unexpected wound up having.

naw, i think there is alpha, the incomplete one, and the complete one, cubia. Maybe cubia is Zelkovas or somthign, Zelkova seems specail.

"Bia <Alpha>" is a bit too close to being Cubia Alpha, therefore yeah.

Cubia shouldn't even be in G.U. I mean without Kite, Cubia wouldn't really be Cubia.

Cubia wasn't Kite's shadow, but the bracelet's shadow. So even without Kite, as long as unbridled Data Drain exists, Cubia is a possible end result.
