So the second coming thing could be true and its talking about Talvos and Copernic appering out of the void and destroying 'The World'. So mabey the void is not gone for ever and even after the system reboot it still exists. Hint the title Ressurection.

No. That part just refers to when Kite fought Tarvos and Corbenic back in the Quarantine days. The Second Coming refers to ALL the Phases. The Destruction of the World it refers too is the corruption of the game that Kite originally fought off, and gave the Epitaph a new ending. The "Void." Is simply the dark abyss graphics Corbenic's third form came out of.

The Epitaph isn't meant to be taken so literally. It's Esoteric.

Evidence that CCcrop could have used the 'Black Box' again to get 'The World' up and running. It's either that, or they made such a completely new version of the world that nothing relates to the old game, Tri-Edge and the titles of the phases could be a coincidence.

I like to believe that CCcorp used the Black Box again, which would make sense for the second coming of the wave.

I will add to this saying that obviously some data has made it to this new version of the world. Tri-edge. The phases. (Look at Endrance's cat. The cat was only chosen to comfort Tsukasa because he had memories of nursing a cat). That seems to be also taken into the new version of the world as well.

Well yes, of course. It's possible that CC Corp was forced to use a back up of the World they had (Because the current version was destroyed.) And from the looks of things, I'm thinking the back up is around the Infection era. Kite exists, but so does Skeith. So Tri-Edge is an AI created from Kite's Data spliced with the new game, given AI to fulfill his segment in the program. The Phases probably can't survive in their current forms, so they latch on to human hosts or something. A brand new Aura could be running around, and a new Morganna can be doing... evil-crazy-mom-impersionating-daughter-abusing-Artificial-Intelligence-y stuff.

It's possible, but it'd be kind've hard to only save selective data. And with Tri-Edge's appearance, it seems they had to have saved an actual version of the World. The blackbox folder, if anything, would be the last thing they save.

Without the 'Blackbox' folder, CC. Corp. would have been unable to rebuild 'The World.' They would need the core pieces of data. If any of that data is missing, then 'The World' would cease to function.

Good point, but there's no reason they can't just start from scratch. They're not so incompetent that they can't make a game.

Perhaps....the reason 'Tri-Edge' is the way he is, is because of a compatibility issue. Kite's data was undeletable; as was any data within the 'Blackbox' folder. I am so sorry, but there is always the possibility that Kite's character data was actually contained within the 'Blackbox' folder itself, or at least; some of it.

I completely agree.

Maybe the reason 'Tri-Edge' has the 'Franken-kite' look about him, is because the older 'Kite' data is not programmed in the same way that the new character data is programmed; making his older character data(or whatever left of it) speak a 'different language' than the new system speaks, so the new system does not know exactly how to use it.

The problem with this is, if a computer can't understand data, it won't run it, so Kite's data would just be sitting there as junk. It's possible that some malevolent AI (The new Morganna system, if you go by the theory that an older version of the World was spliced with the new game.) Could've ressurected Kite so the Epitaph Program can take place again, Tri-Edge, the new Kite, fulfilling the role of the Twilight Dragon once more.

Don't Apologize to much but yeah nice info on the 'Blackbox' folder. but yes that good info but it kind of off the Topic hear seeing if Tri-Edge and Kite are the same person...but yeah it good people are coming up with new Theories to this Poem done by W. B. Yeats or at lest I hope so.

CCCorp restored The World using backups of the original, The Black Box folder, and data from a different game, correct? So, the phases could return depending on the time of which the backup was created. I would assume they would backup the data more then once during a 7 year time period. There are bound to be several thousand backup files during that time.

The Black Box folder, i would assume, after the defeat of Morganna and Auras birth, rewrote itself to account for all of that. So it too would be different in the backups, or depending on how much it was damaged, not changed at all. That would mean that the phases wouldnt come back as they were, if at all.

I kinda skimmed the topic and stuff before posting but don't think it was mentioned, but today in my English class my teacher had mentioned that a novel Things Fall Apart was based on the poem "The Second Coming" by W.B. Yeats.

I bet that "the second coming" refers to the wave (in the form of kite (or tri-edge)), aura and the braclet but this time Haseo gets the braclet when he is data drained and Ovan knows this and thats why he joins up with Haseo in the first place.

if you look at the epitaph pf twilight wiseman sends you in one of the 4 older games the phases are mentioned again so that is what im asuming is the second coming

Ovan, Shino, and Haseo go waaay back (.hack//Roots). Ovan also had the locked arm in the Anime, so I'm guessing the arm is of no real significance, other than it can be a giant gun (hes a steam gunner.) Haseo DOES NOT get the bracelet. Please don't throw out dumb ideas like this without any basis.

The beast that slept for 2,000 years reminds me of Cubia, and brings the Cubia theory back to life, but we all know it cant (and shouldnt) exist. Maybe theres a COMPLETELY new evil, unexplained.
