This topic went way off again..
The Terminal Disc is part of the story..it explains alot and is not fake in any way.
I thought it's already been discussed that AIDA wants to learn about human emotions. That's what Mia did with Endrance..it was learning the human reactions of when people are cheering for battles and arena battles and how a person goes through death. It's basically doing the jobs that the avatar's were doing.
The avatars in this game have been sorta..tamed though. They've been stripped of Morganna's control ( well most of it ) and attached them to users, wandering AI's searching for the right person to summon them ( done by CC Corp ). Though it can still overpowerthe user and kinda get destructive where it just thinks of killing the enemy ( Haseo and Skeith vs Magus incident ) so you can assume that the avatars do have their own minds, just that they forgot about Morganna's will and were replaced by the user's will.
Though, it's still unknown what the AIDA's true purpose is..how it was even created actually. It could be argued that when (Terminal disc) when the people stopped from the creation of Cubia, the system couldn't accept that and most likely was a replacement for Cubia ( but I think in vol 3, Cubia and AIDA are the same thing )
So yes, now we're back on topic..go go go!
