Actually, Yata was activated before them. And he knew Ovan had his avatar. Pay close attention to certain parts of Rebirth. He talks with Ovan constantly, keeping close tabs on him. And... the title: Rebirth. Kinda a VERY big spoiler. It either refers to Ovan's Avatar, or the rebirth of Skieth.haseoxth wrote: ummm....the first active avatar was magus....or tarvos...which ever....
AIDA and Avatar relation? (Possible Spoilers?)

ummm...heres a big spoiler yata doesnt have his avatar activated till volume three....and please watch the Terminal Disk on youtube or something.it tells you alot about the avatars....and the RA plan.Virk wrote:Actually, Yata was activated before them. Actually... I never watched Liminality to it's full extent. And, I do believe that if they weren't collecting emotions before... they are here. The avatars were attracted to the intense emotions each of the Epitaph Users had at certain points of their time in the game. Haseo's being the intense pain of death when he lost Shino, etc...lukan wrote:dam those liminality easter eggs!!

And R.A. plan was made to collect the data for a new AI... so the AI would need these emotions...

And it is never truly revealed WHEN he gets his Avatar. He just USES it for the first time seen by Haseo in Vol. 3.
Edit: Sorry about the double post.. a little slow with the typing...

correction, haseo has his emotions amplified when he fears he is about to die.
and right, i fergot that CC was trying to use the avatars.
but, the avatars, even having their own consciousness as seen (on TV) wen skieth attacked magus on his own during the fight, don't seem to be too interested in collecting data...unless they feel one person per epitaph is enough

My bad... I never fully researched this out. BUT, Skieth probably was malfunctioning due to Haseo's carelessness. The Avatars possibly reflect their user's appearance (As seen with the Skieth forms) and emotions.lukan wrote:correction, haseo has his emotions amplified when he fears he is about to die.

Kyle "Kelly" Liam Sullivan put my reaction best when he said: What the hell?!The Terminal disc is *coughnon-canoncough*
I think CC corp. wanted an Ultimate AI that they could fully control themselves, because an Ultimate AI with human emotions would just end up leaveing just like Aura. And R.A. plan was made to collect the data for a new AI... so the AI would need these emotions...

VideoSpud wrote:Back onto the AIDA & Avatar Relation....There is a theory going around that AIDA might be the Anti-Excistence to the Avatars, due to the excessive amounts of negative energy and junk data released when the Avatars are called upon. Again, this is just a theory that has been currently going around.
the reason being for this is because it is thought that cubia is the source of all AIDA,there-by being the anti exsistence to the avatars....

Holy hell, you just took a big steaming dump all over the storyline.I kinda think that the Avatars are collecting data for Aina. The Books are like the installation book given to Kite by Aura. When she reads them, the data is downloaded into her. Which means the Avatars are collecting data on human emotions, still fulfilling their true purpose. And, maybe, the AIDA are the remnants of the first attempts at the R.A. Plan. Cubia could of found a way to fuse with the AIDA (possibly through DD), and learned the plans that Amagi sought out. With this info, he tracked down the first activated Avatar and his user (being Ovan), and fused with him. Ovan, at first, would be willing, and love the new power. But Cubia would find a way into his mind, controlling his character, making him do things he had no control over.
Cubia's true purpose would be to control ALL of the avatars, collecting data to become the new Ultimate AI. Ovan would log off for long periods of time, but somehow Cubia would have infected his mind beyond control, and he would log back on to fulfill his new master's plans.
Which explains further why he wants Haseo to kill his character. To get rid of the parasite Cubia, he needed his character killed, and his pain would be ended. I believe this is how the name Tri-Edge came up. Tri: Three Entities. Edge: ???
1. Cubia is implied to be creating the AIDA, not fusing with them.
2. Ovan doesn't, and never wanted Cubia/The AIDA. And he's not under mind control, he has Doll Syndrome, meaning he's probably paralyzed in real life and unable to log out. Mind control isn't possible, and doesn't make sense since Ovan wants Haseo to defeat Cubia and the AIDA.
3. Cubia's true purpose is to oppose and destroy the Avatars, not take over them.
4. The name Tri-Edge came from the fact that he had three blades. Duh.
It goes Ovan>Pi>Kuhn>Endrance>Haseo>Sakubo>Atoli>Yataummm....the first active avatar was magus....or tarvos...which ever....
No, he isn't. He even says that Pi was the first one to awaken that he knows of, including Ovan and Yata. Then again, Ovan was the first to activate and not even Yata knew.Actually, Yata was activated before them. And he knew Ovan had his avatar. Pay close attention to certain parts of Rebirth. He talks with Ovan constantly, keeping close tabs on him. And... the title: Rebirth. Kinda a VERY big spoiler. It either refers to Ovan's Avatar, or the rebirth of Skieth.
Though the Phases can be used for collecting emotions like in the RA Plan, since they're pieces of Morganna, who's purpose was to gather emotions. It wasn't what they were made for, but they can be used for it.dam those liminality easter eggs!!

*slap*The Terminal disc is *coughnon-canoncough*
We see Pi and Kuhn awaken, and Yata says that they were the first and second to awaken that he knows of. That means he hasn't awakened yet. He STILL hasn't awakened since then. Thus, he hasn't Awakened. And it is never truly revealed WHEN he gets his Avatar. He just USES it for the first time seen by Haseo in Vol. 3.
The Avatars are AI's, but they're not humanoid. They're animals that are probably mad at being bound, yet at the same time emotionally attached to their hosts like puppies. They don't know why they exist, so they just do what their hosts want. For example, when Haseo was wailing on Kuhn and Skeith came to life, he saw the fight and reasoned that his purpose was to destroy Magus.but, the avatars, even having their own consciousness as seen (on TV) wen skieth attacked magus on his own during the fight, don't seem to be too interested in collecting data...unless they feel one person per epitaph is enough
He wasn't malfunctioning. He just broke free of Haseo's control. My bad... I never fully researched this out. BUT, Skieth probably was malfunctioning due to Haseo's carelessness. The Avatars possibly reflect their user's appearance (As seen with the Skieth forms) and emotions.
But it's not an Ultimate AI without emotions.I think CC corp. wanted an Ultimate AI that they could fully control themselves, because an Ultimate AI with human emotions would just end up leaveing just like Aura.

the RA plan was the plan to create the Ultimate AI under thier controll, they were gonna leave emotins in....but if Jyotaro Amagi wasnt so F-ing crazy trying to go about the plan with one avatar missing,it might have succeeded..awkward_confusion wrote: I think CC corp. wanted an Ultimate AI that they could fully control themselves, because an Ultimate AI with human emotions would just end up leaveing just like Aura.

Ok... I think I will shutup now...
But I thought the Terminal disc *was* non-canon... I kinda thought it was just a CC Corp. created bonus to just get the fans thinking.
Darn me and my theories... I need to research next time I go around throwing ideas everywhere. -rips off left ear and feeds it to pirahnas-
Anyway... I still kinda think the books Aina reads are like the Installation Manual given to Kite.. and AIDA may have to do with those books...
And my bad with the Yata thing... like I said, I should of RESEARCHED!

The Liminality extras are the non-canon, they were created by americans without legit information from the creators of .hack, for making the fans thinking, maybe (or maybe they just felt like it)Virk wrote:But I thought the Terminal disc *was* non-canon... The installation manual given to Kite is not a book at all, but an item that later gains the form of the twilight bracelet after installed (that's what i think). So she cannot 'read' it.
And the books may come from a system in The World (something like Morganna) that gives information to the Ultimate AI. But instead of giving them directly to her, they come out as books and she just has to read them (almost the same, anyways...)
