I only DD when I have to. And sometimes I just like DD'ing for fun. depends though. ^^; If i'm in need of Virus Cores, I DD, but if not, I just DD to get me some weapons.
I also have a weird tendency of going to REALLY high level places, just so that I can level up faster. --But I would NEVER EVER go to a high lvl place with Kite alone...that scares me. xD

I only DD when i need virus cores, which actually turns out to be horrible! I hate virus core hunting, aagh, so annoying. But yeah i try and get experience for my players and pretty much only DD when i have to or when i am in a really tight spot. I usually try to go to the highest level i can without being killed, which is usually about 7 or 8 levels above my level at this point. I do that cuz i hate having to waste time leveling up by getting like 28 exp. points each monster that takes forever lol, when i fight 7 or 8 levels above my level i get like 540 exp a monster lol, it is great.

Lol, Uzi, to me it's NOT a challenge, it's annoying. but ah well.; Yeah, Gate Hacking IS fun. The problem is..hunting for virus cores and then NOT getting the virus cores you need --but I keep forget to check that e-mail Helba sends you about the virus cores, thus why I sometimes can't find the ones I need. *sigh*

First, I do any side-dungeons/quests available (like when party members ask for help) before I move ont o story areas. This is for buidling up levels & such.
If there's a break in the action and I have some stuff in my inventory, I'll take some time off to boost my weapons and armor in Myst Springs to the best they can be (hunting for hard-to-get stuff later on). In the case of elemental armor (like INFECTION & OUTBREAK) I'll usually mix-and-match, giving my guys a variety of armors. Gives them better protection all-around and more skills to use. Weapons I'll usually pick whatever best works with the characters natural elements and/or weapons with multiple-element skills.
Dungeons, I take plenty of Fairy Orbs. Though every so often I might explore blindly. I'll usually take a straightforward path, unless I'm buidilng levels or my Ryu Books. For fighting i usually get into the thick of it, fighting right htere with everyone (unless I figure doing otherwise is the better idea).
I tend to hoard scrolls, since I don't use them very mcuh, relying instead on the characters' own skills. Though I've started re-thinking that approach.
Finally, for parties, I'll often take whoever needs experience the most (and isn't required by game law to be there with me).

I have a rather different approach. Someone hits from the front (this is usually if the monster is one of those big ones) then i hit it from behind while my wavemaster heals when we need it. This is why i hardly use Data Drain. Only when i need to.
I broke my toe with a bowling ball. The sad part is that i was playing tennis.
